True! The FA verdict left a lot of people in doubt as to whether or not Suarez was actually guilty! In such serious matters guesswork should not be an acceptable standard to use. Whilst the Terry case has still left doubt, at least nobody guessed at what actually happened! Two similar cases, two completely different outcomes, surely the FA should change their procedures and stop acting above the law!
I said that the Suarez and the Terry cases were comparable. I also said Terry is an utter ****. Explain to me why either are not true.
I was messing with the Terry vid,you know the one where he says to Anton 'Hey Hey you bl*ck ****,****ing knobhead' but was just repeating what Anton was thinking he said.
There is a really dumb piece on channel 4 news right now. Really bias group of people. One woman saying when the PL has a black manager it will be a huge step forward. We've had Paul Ince, Chris Houghton and Ruud Gullit. No one even spoke about or even noticed as far as I'm aware (Though Paul Ince said he rushed to thePL because he thought he'd never get another job being black). Racism is not a big issue in the premier league. People need to stop arguing about it. I'd rather see us tackling issues like diving, intimidating refs etc.
Completely disagree with this ! Yes there is less, much less than 20 years ago when the racism was rampant, open, nasty. Now it's much less and more subtle. We shouldn't be complacent about it.
Numb nuts we are touchy cause with suarez in team for eight games we possibly would have won more games and challenged for fourth. Second thing the judge did not believe jt in the slightest however the evidence did not support his feelings - go read the bits that have been released from the case so far Wazzock!
Hang on, hang on. Just seen C4 News with John Snow. Panel afterwards with three talking heads on race (two of them black, naturally - are there no other races in this country?). Some feller called Paul Henry (?) was asked whether the fact that Anton Ferdinand never even heard the alleged slur by Terry was relevant and he replied that it wasn't. Hmmm, wasn't the major factor that Evra himself wasn't done for his 'Go fook your sister' and 'Sudaca' insults (said in Spanish for racist effect) stated by the 'independent' panel as being that Suarez said he never initially heard them? Just how many double-standards and twisting of the jeopardy rules do these single-issue fanatics want? This Paul Henry bloke was openly stating that (enthusing?) that as the FA have lesser standards of evidence requirements that Terry should still be made an example of by them. It's as if an alleged witch has been found innocent by a proper court, and the townsfolk simply say "We'll get that Matthew Hopkins-Carlisle to run one of his special ducking-stool trials anyway and burn the bastard somehow". John Terry is prick. But, as Thomas More once said, you chop down the forest of laws to get at one man at your own risk, for there'll then be an unchecked gale of injustice to follow".
i just don't get terrys defence (apart that is bullshit) that he was just repeating something that was said to him...but who would call terry a BLACK anything? mind you it got him off..
