Whatever way you look at it there will be no parade past Ardoyne next year. Loyalists attacked the 'come on' parade. How can they claim that parades should be respected next year? Martin Meehan Jr played the Loyal ones like a fiddle.

The parade past St Patricks on Donegal Street will, I assume, be next. The wheels were put in motion yesterday. Silly Billys singing the Rangers song 'why don't you go home'....In Ireland <laugh>

What schools do these people go to?

Moral of the story? March were you are wanted <ok>

You do know they guy who calm up with it was from Belfast?

Said it countless times, it's a wind up song, it's not to be taken literally.

Listen to the news reporter, the parade passed peacefully, the dissident republicans started attacking the police after with a few loyalist retalliating.

The parade will be even bigger next year in Ardoyne. They won't give in to bullies.

If the Government never gave into bullies there'd be no parades <ok>

It doesn't matter who wrote the song. The silly Billys stopped outside a Catholic Church and belted it out along with the Sash. Expect half the New Lodge at that parade next year.

Loyalists didn't retaliate, they attacked Meehans 'come on' parade as he doubtless wanted. Job done.

Who wont give in to bullys? The Parades commision? The OO? Who?

Ardoyne will be following Ormeau Road and Drumcree. Two places the OO said they would always march.

The Parades commision teed it up and the bold Martin hit it out the stadium.

I told you last year about the wee road that leads from the top of the Crumlin Road to Glencairn. It will be getting a wee clean up in time for next July. Guess what? They can then play whatever they want and bring as many people with the and no one will care.

There's a Parades Commission? As in, a commission solely concerned with parades? Ffs <doh>

As I said. It's not to be taken literally.

    What's a "come on" parade?

The parades commission. You don't give in to thugs attacking police with bricks, bottles and bombs

Aye and the Williams hate it <grr><laugh>

They have thousands and thousands of parades a year Jip. All they would have to do is ditch the few were they are not wanted and that would be it. They haven't the nous to see that it would actually be in their own interests.

Right Medro, why do you think the Parades Commission slapped a 4pm limit on the march and gave Meehans the go ahead?

I went on a parade on Remembrance Sunday when I was a Boy Scout. As the tallest, I had to carry the flag, which was heavier than it looked. I hated it.
