Best news. Happy and pleased for JT. Terry should be reinstated as the England captain.

****ing ******. Anton was a credible witness according to the judge and has done nothing wrong just like Terry.

Although I thought it was always going to be not guilty(inconclusive).I hope you Chelsea fans take into account that it wasn't Ferdinand who brought the whole thing to court but an off duty policeman.By all acounts even he said he didn't hear what was said and was also a reluctant witness to this farce.

Never doubted this decision for a second, the 'evidence' and prosecution was so weak it's a joke it got this far.

Terry will be forever stained with this though.

But he still took him to court and is a main reason as to why he is no longer England captain thus we have reasons to dislike him.

Can I just say it wasn't Anton who prosecuted. To my mind it was clear he was pushed by his agent and brother.

    This was always my worry

Clearly Terry is a Prince amongst men, and Ferdinand put himself in the firing line for the death threats that will invaaiably come from the direction of Stamford Bridge, just for the fun of it.

Anton was a witness a credible witness at that, he didn't take anything to court and so had nothing to do with Terry losing his captaincy. Don't talk about stuff you clearly don't understand.

Wonder what that plank Rio will tweet about this next?? His liar liar comment seems more than a little ill judged now. Perhaps stick to being a fading footballer than impossing your views on the world.

Anton i guess hasn't really done anything wrong than perhaps incite the original incident with his own unprofessional behaviour on the pitch last October. As he was so offended by the idea of possibly being racial abused (albeit without actually hearing anything), I full expect a statement to be released by Anton expressing his delight at having not been abused as proven by a Court of law <whistle>

Therefore I apologise because I thought he did. I retract my comments but am obviously happy that JT is not guilty.

At last someone in this farce has shown some common sense. I hope the off duty policeman who made the complaint has learnt that grandstanding is not part of the job. Perhaps they should be send him/her the bill.
I hope Anton has learned one of lifes lessons...... if you don't want people to abuse you, then don't abuse others.
I hope the FA has learned a lesson, though doubt it. The players under their watch have become increasingly abusive and uncontrolled. The lesson for the FA is simple. Send all their refs to the rugby so they can see how to control players and how the players need to respect them.
There should be zero tolerance from refs towards dissent and complaints. First time warning, straight yellow second time, then early shower . Would take about one week to rid the game of this curse if they have the balls and we won't have nonsense like this again.
