I've probably only seen him half a dozen times, but I'm basing my opinion more on the comments of the fans who have watched him week in week out and he's about as highly rated as Simon Walton.
Yeah, I agree. Even if he was really good it seems to me a recipe for disaster. If we were talking Rooney then you could make an exception, but I think the stench of nepotism would damage the team, even if were not true. I suspect that Steve Bruce knows that, he should after Birmingham. Actually Alex Bruce could possibly do a stop gap job for us, but not worth the risk/hassle. In my opinion we would be better off with a less able player who didn't gip all over the changing room every match. Got a few friends in Leeds, and he used to make them sick at half time as well!
This is from his time at Brum - It was felt that accusations of nepotism were hindering his progress, so it was decided that in the best interests of club, manager and player Bruce should pursue his career away from his father's management. This being the case, I suspect we won't be interested in him and we're just helping train and find another club.
He would be good signing for your daily babe thread. His missus is fit Google Lindsey Strutt. That is his missus. Unbelievable Jeff
I must be the only one that thought he was good last year, Had a fall out with Grayson otherwise would have been first choice. Hes solid and will give 110%
If it had been Chester that had been out until mid October instead of Hoobs, I'd be ok with him coming in to cover. However, Chester is under 6' and whilst he is a fatastic defender, you still need to partner him with someone who has the height to combat any team that is astute in aerial attack. So, no thanks Auntie!
Do you think his missus would turn up to watch him dressed exactly the same as she's dressed in that pic?
Liam Cooper deserves his chance. Granted we do need cover, but a loan siging like Michael Kean seems the best way forward.
yep, you'd rather see.. in order of preference starting with.. Chessie Coops Kean Bradley and then McShame even before Alex Bruce.. signing your son is a no-no.. the big German - yes the Man U loanees - yes Elomandy - why not Bruce - no!
Alex Bruce ‏@4AlexBruce For those asking I have been away training with Hull this week to get fit, as for signing I'm not sure yet as I have a few options.
