Matty James and Danny Drinkwater defo will have buy back clause but De Laet may not Or maybe because we paid a little more for them then say Hull did for some of theirs we have paid a bit extra to get all the clauses taken out
If I had to pick between him and Chester to leave, it would be Hobbs but I don't think if you did get him, he would play as well for you as he has lately for us - he's now built up a good, solid partnership with Chester.
Just like he did with Aleksandar Tunchev, Michael Morrison and Wayne Brown. Hobbs plays well because he is a good player not because Chester is playing with him
They put it in all young players. You got then so cheap because there is all these clauses put in so that if they do reach their potential and Man U made a mistake letting them go, they can then get them back for peanuts
Last year though, when Chester was injured, Hobbs didn't look as confident and versatile as he did with Chester - that's when we went on our loosing streak of about 6/7 games
This is bad charlie.. talking down your own players, tut tut tut.. just come out and say it, he's s h i t e ..and be done with it.hobbs cost you the playoffs..
I'm not saying that. He is a fantastic player only he looks even more fantastic with Chester along side him
just saying you don't let 2 players leave unless either your manager thinks you are overstaffed in that area, or he already has replacements lined up (i.e. transfer fees and already agreed personal terms) - and as a number of clubs are already abroad at pre-season (it can't be any of them), and no club would take a player on a pre-season trip that had signed for another club (due to the possibility of said player causing disharmony in the camp just before he leaves).
