Break the bank? You have spent 1 million on a non-league player and we're trying to sign a player who has played in the Europa league for 2 million. Both could take the league by storm or could be ****e, who knows? But a striker who has only scored 10 goals in his whole career and looks a poor player seems a strange signing for a club looking to get promoted. He may be a free agent but you do realise that you will pay him a signing on fee don't you?
We havent broke the bank to sign Vardy. 1M is nothing to us He played in the micky mouse cup. He must be some player. It sort of explains why he was playing for a massive club in the german 2nd divison. You have never heard of him and you are trying to make out hes a great signing for you. And paying signing on fees dont bother us. David Nugent, Neil Danns, John Pantsil all signed on free last year and i bet their signing on fees was alot more then it would cost for Futacs
I'll reiterate this for you. The guy is only 22! His career is barely off the ground. And if he is a gamble, so what? He'll cost us nothing except a signing on fee and his wages. You are taking a similar gamble on a guy who is three years older and is costing £2m into the bargain. If you can't see that we are taking the smaller risk, then you need to learn to look at things more objectively.
Were getting Nick Proschwitsz from a german club who was top scorer in 2. Bundesliga last season with 17 goals - he is 6"3, 25 and will cost 2 million
since when has optimism been a bad thing ? you must get out of your ingrained hull city mind set of everything is s h i t e ...i know its difficult after 100 years of nowt, but us leicester fans think on the positive side of life....
They got 31 between them with a ****e midfield but I bow to your superior knowledge of Leicester city
We signed Jamie Vardy from an English club he was the top scorer in the blue squad premiership last season with 34 goals. He is 5"10, 25 and cost us 1M
Apologies if I've got your backs up, it wasn't my intention. I was merely asking a question. I've not tried to.big up our possible signing at all, if we.get him it.may be a gamble at 2 mill. But so is vardy you must admit. He's a similar age to the German and has been playing non-league so to pay a.million for him does.seem a gamble. As regards futacs my personal opinion is he's gash and I suspect he may turn out to be the same as McLean is for us. I would have thought you'd have gone for someone better but if you're happy then fine
What a 36 year old past his best. Howard didnt do anything at all for us last season. Howard was best off gone From what i have seen from Futacs he looks decent and has potential. Im not saying he is good enough to be first choice but he would offer something different to the other players. With him being a free agent it will be a low risk move by Nigel
