If he really wants to be here and accept a sensible pay packet, I think it'll happen. Its hard to say though as we don't know who else is in for him. Much as it would piss some off to hear it, Liverpool are probably still a bigger draw along with Chelsea, Man C, Man U, Arsenal, Spurs. So any of those 6 and we'd probably be struggling.

Pardew is a big fan and we've seen close hand just how dangerous and good he is. Ripped us a new one every time we met last season. However if he is all about the money/bonuses etc he'll end up elsewhere.

Dont know why I am totally against the grain on this one but the signing of the lad just wouldnt excite me. One of those players I would rather the mackems didnt sign but wouldnt be too bothered about us signing him

 

he is now apparently flying to Germany presumably to talk to Gladbach, although don't we have people over that way at the moment (i might be wrong). Some geezer from sky sports thinks he still prefers a move to the PL though!

Really? I've always thought he was a cracking talent and started to show it last season. Just imagine Hoilett, HBA and Cisse as an attacking trio. And Demba to come in for any one of them. Tasty times.
