Been mentioned on here this evening that it appears to be between five sides now for the final play off place. Thought I'd check out each sides remaining fixtures to see if they are favourable. On my phone so cutting and pasting would be a nightmare but was on a swansea board reading some views on the game and stumbled across this useful thread...

Interesting stuff anyway. If our home form was even slightly decent I would say we've the most favourable run in

If we had a decent home record, we'd be challenging for the 2nd automatic place!

Leeds have 4 hard games. Forest have Norwich and Leicester which will be tricky. Millwall should slip up. I reckon it depends if we can win them 3 home games. If we can i'm pretty confident 6th place is ours.

I actually think Millwall will get 6th looking at their form and the teams they are playing.

They are getting some good results recently and doing something we cannot which is score more than 1 regularly.

We have 8 points in those last 5 games and sadly will be playing QPR who should be promoted by the time we play them so the pressure will be off them and they will score goals for fun so we can count that one as a loss.

6th place will be too far now....even so, a good enough season based on what has happened last year and to push on for a top 6 next season or even promotion.

Good result against an in form Swansea team last night....shame out home form is so crap.

I think without Morison Millwall won't make it.

I too was looking at the fixtures last night. I think ours looks the best opportunity but dpends on getting max points from home games. A draw at QPR is reasonable too. 13pts is not beyond us and all the other teams have some tough point dropping games. Forest look our nearest threat.

I'm beginning to beleive we can do it - though I'm not optimistic about getting through the pay-offs even if we make it!

Holt got a knock last night and might be out against Forest on Saturday, which won't help us any.

I wouldn't have thought our opponents will have anything to play for in our remaining games. Doncaster and Middlesbrough are about safe, QPR should have it wrapped up by then, I think Crystal Palace will be about safe by the time we play them and bristol city are another side in mid table.

If it is close and goes to the final day then we will probably have to beat Bristol City while Leeds lose at QPR. Might happen!!

I like the thought of Leeds being in 6th place in the 93rd minute of the final day until we get a last second winner to nick the spot from them! That would be good!

If Koren hadn't missed his one on one last night, we'd already be 7th and only 2 points of the play-off's, that's how close we are.
