Well, who'd o' thought it ? The Sun newspaper has an article this morning on foreign investment in football and has highlighted six clubs with potantial for a takeover. Funnily enough they rate Leeds as having the most potential. "Experts reckon Leeds are the club most attractive to potential investors.....Estimated cost: £40m, Buyability: 5/5" Is this merely lazy journalism ? Or is it just that the takeover is imminent and the Sun are setting themselves up for the big "We told you first" headline ? http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...ich-football-club-is-next-for-a-takeover.html
No, on the 30th anniversary of the Falklands conflict, they are setting themselves up for the "its the sun wo' won it' headline as we win the championship, FA Cup, League cup, & just about everything else. Crap paper, but would be nice if they finally got something right!!!
I'm not too sure about the statement "They have a huge fan base, a well-known history and a squad capable of Championship promotion next season."... I'd agree with the first two points but the third needs a bit of work yet
