Lets just say the last few times we've interacted, we've not seen eye to eye on certain things. As WATRB openly post that the view of someone at a match is relevant and not that of someone who doesnt attend. You are entitled to your beliefs and opinions, and i respect that fact; Just dont agree with you on many many things ! Please post what ever you wish, but dont bring WATRB issues onto this; (what many consider to be the best board around at the moment) board. Thanks and welcome
Hi fellas, just joined as a newly minted QPR fan. I'm American of Korean descent, and of course Parks move has resulted in my becoming a Hoopster, but rest assured, as I've observed the majority of QPR fans to be a great group of people, newbies like myself will stay for the ride long after Parks playing days are over...
queenslander it seems ive upset you in some way! as ive said i dont consider fans who follow rangers from afar any less true fans than the ones who go every week! i really dont give a monkeys! my veiws on subjects away from football are quite left wing which may of upset you i dont know! i didnt come on this site to cause trouble and what the hell are you on about bring on to this site WATRB issues??? if i knew what the issues were it would be a start! any way thanks for the welcome i think!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome Tex! Do you speak/ read Korean? We may turn to you for explanation of Korean press reports.....Google translate has some quite bizarre results. Where in Texas are you - we have a couple of posters in Houston. Enjoy your ride with the Rs.... It's never boring.
Hahaha thanks FFS. For really good insights into what Koreans think of QPR and the goings on, I'd refer you to the bigsoccer.com Korean players abroad section. It's in English and the posters are ethnic Koreans from all over the world. There are some hard core Koreans on that forum, but almost all of us are terribly excited about Park and maybe even Ki joining. I live in the Dallas area, and just to let you know, even in America soccer is growing leaps and bounds. Once QPR has conquered Asia, America will have to be next. But I'd like to say this. Before Park, not many in Korea had heard of PSV. Despit Park moving to United, PSV stayed in the hearts of many Koreans as a superb, plucky European team. Park's signing with QPR will have the same effect on this club. Having said all this, I'll make my first wild comment here. QPR will be competing for Europe or the FA Cup this year. Mark my words.
Tex, that's a great read. Man Utd getting it In the neck! http://www.bigsoccer.com/community/threads/park-ji-sung-queens-park-rangers-2012-2013-r.1947838/
Queens says this guy has a murky history of antipathy towards foreigners. We have to be careful who we let on this Board. There's a lot of weirdos out there, know what I mean?
He denies it above. Give him a chance. Besides mate, if you open up another front to fight on it'll end up like Napoleon's retreat from Moscow. Have a look at the link I posted above from Tex's advice. It's good stuff. Might join that board myself......
Fair point. Only kidding Connell mate Tex, my brother started a Supporters Club in Ohio. Reckon you could do the same in Texas?
As WATRB openly post that the view of someone at a match is relevant and not that of someone who doesnt attend. If that were the case on here there would only be about six posters
I read watrb now and then and I have to say that connell10 is one of the more restrained posters on there; don't know a thing about Queen's issues with him and don't want to know. There were a couple of threads there recently following Ireland's exit from the Euro's which were pretty hate-filled, but connell's contributions there were very supportive and seeking the middle ground. He's more than welcome here as far asI'm concerned.
