We are looking for strikers in the summer and i think Welbeck might fit the bill. Im still hoping for a superstar striker (Gervinho?) but i think we need another also. How much do you think Welbeck might cost? Reckon ManYoo would want to sell him and dont think his wages would be too much of a problem. A younger, faster Shola whos finding his feet in the Premiership.

It's a yes from me. Reckon five million would do it. Man U have Rooney, Berbatov, Hernandez, Macheda, Nani and Valencia in attacking positions.

Wellbeck and Jarvis would do nicely.

I really like this lad. He was just beginning to shine at Sunderland before he got injured. I don't think that Man Utd will sell him, but if they did, I would be happy to see him come to the club.

    Berbatov - getting older
    Rooney - often injured
Macheda - probably making loan move to Italy permanent.
Nani + Valencia - wingers, not strikers

So, basically Hernandez is their only reliable striker, so there is no way they will sell Welbeck, especially with him in the England frame.

You forgot Owen ha, actually forget that, waste of time mentioning him.
Still dont think Welbeck will feature in United's plans and for the 5 mil or so they could make off him im sure a deal could be done

If he was available then he would be going to 5under1and.

I reckon that Sunderland will have an option on him if Man Utd are prepared to sell.

Owen is always injured as well.

What would Utd use the 5mil for? Any transfers they want will cost far more than that, and it will hardly dent their debt, so it wouldn't benefit them to sell. And if they were, 5under1and have probably got a first chance clause in the loan.

Yes from me, would love him here to partner a big front man, but it's him or Gervinho for me.

I don't rate him either, but I can see why Utd would.

Don't think Man Utd would sell him, and I wouldn't want him either, not prolific enough and not an out and out winger
