haha, sounds rather frustrating! i've never really played any manager games, so i can imagine i'm gonna struggle with the switch over from fifa!
I'll probably just start with Lincoln, then I've got more excuses if they perform ****...

Haha good idea! Blyth's gone alright, but the transfer budget it £0 and the wage limit like £4k :| Makes it hard to get many good players. But here's hoping :)

Yeah I can't imagine Lincoln's budget being very good
What's the loan deal like on fm? Can you arrange to buy a player at the end of a loan deal if you want to? Cuz I know on Fifa teams refuse to let you buy a player at the end of a loan deal, which is frustrating..

Also, how many (and which) nations would be the best to manage in?

Erm dunno, never loaned in players for that length of time to get the option to buy them. In October on my Newcastle one and the players are doing SH!T. Doing my head in, can't seem to win. Got beat by Swansea in the cup

I just do England and Scotland for NUFC career atm.
For others I've included France Germany Spain Brazil Holland and Italy in as well.

FM question, I had a player in sensational form, scored something like 25 and assisted 15 in 30 games, and now he's fizzled out the past few months and had a couple of injuries and lost a smidge of ability any ideas how to motivate him and get him back on form? Doesnt even stand out much in games now.

Private chat and tell him your disappointed? Then drop him and bring him on as impact sub for like half an hour and see how he's motivated?
I've had similar bother with Gameiro, on fire in pre-season but hasn't scored once in 5 competitive matches. Jonas has been class though.

Anyone know how to reduce injuries? I've had to include Vuckic, Lualua and Kadar into my team through the shere volume of injuries at the moment. Every game someone seems to get injured and every week Nolan or Barton cause an injury in training -_-

I did try private chatting him, when it got to the point he was often the worst player on the pitch, and he said he understood, and things would pick up soon. I think I'll rest him for a few games, he has just been playing in the olympics for Argentina anyway. Cheers <ok>

I wouldnt want to loan him out GRB, he is still a top player and key part of my system, but I suppose I didnt explain the situation in much detail.

As for injuries, maybe hire a better physio? Or does that just give you a more accurate estimate for recovery time?

    No problem.
I was under the impression that physios just healed them quicker, so I'll look into a new one. But my priority would be stopping getting them so frequently. Could it be something to do with the intense training regimes?

Might be a factor, they advise you to only have intense training in pre season, then get it down to medium as you're asking a lot.

:\ Damn. But I felt the need to change the shooting attacking and tactical intensity as my strikers keep missing sitters. Changed my defense to intense Strength, Defense, Tactical and Ball control as they kept giving it up cheaply.

No I had 6 months with them but struggled (EDIT: actually I was in top ten, dont know why I said struggled) and found it very unrealistic (pre-update, couldnt get the update either) I'm with AC Milan now.

My best team now I would say is: Riou; Naughton, Thiago Silva, Hummels, Riise; Anderson (created player, not Man U's), Pastore (the player I was referring to before), Sanchez, Pato, Ibrahimovic, Robinho. Not really sure of my best XI yet to be honest though, new season just beginning (3rd season) and 4 key new signings have to be fitted in.

As long as they arent complaining about their workload you should be ok, maybe you've just been unlucky with injuries?

Perhaps, but it's been ridiculous. Simpson, Williamson, Campbell, Enrique,Ben Arfa (played all but one of preseasons then got injured in training and out for 3 months), Best, Guthrie, Ireland and Kuqi all out.

A fellow Niall, good to hear :)

will post up my Gtag once I pay the 800ms points to get it changed as it is freaking ridiculous and embarrassing. Thinking of changing it to something along the lines of a-NIALL-8ed or something..........:undecided: ..... no?

Beasting MW2 atm with a KDR of 1.36, WL of 1.13 and acc of 25.83%, getting bored of it though so will probably move onto Black Ops multiplayer soon as iv just finished it on Veteran. Hate the initial start at the game where you are running round the maps completely lost gettign beasted by all the "pros" of the day
