Haha, agreed. I would like a cheeky little bid for Dann though! I'd be surprised if he doesn't got to a top half Prem team.

 

i like both players. i know johnson has had a bad time the past year and both have been relegated two years on the trot, but they are good defenders when playing together.

 

Supers I've heard rumours from a few people, potentially entirely fictitious, that Rhodes had a physical with us in january which lead to the massive dropping of the odds on us signing him on the transfer deadline but nothing came of it, bit of a CMS in the end. not heard that we've returned but could that be where this rumour is being dredged up from?

 

I like Johnson in the air, but think he's a bit too slow and not too sharp. I think Dann is an all-round quality young defender. English too. Sign him up!

 

I've heard from someone who's worked with Johnson that he is a total arrogant arsehole.

 

Even after last season that he got torn a new one by fans, managers, and team mates!?

 

i don't know the guy. you are probably right. he wouldn't be the first footballer to be arrogant, would he...

 

not sure. it was only sky bet who shortened the odds, which is probably cos they wanted to see some action! obviously i'm going to look a right tool if he suddenly turns up tomorrow but from my discussion it isn't an option the club are going to take. whether thats cos they aren't able or just not interested i do not know

if i was going to bet on it, i'd bet he stays at huddersfield until january

 

Fair, just what I've heard and I've heard nothing about it since. Going round twitter at the moment that he's staying unless there is a "stupid offer". Think most clubs would agree that seeing what he can do in the championship will be good so I agree he'll stay put until jan.

 

Very good shout. Although a good start to the Championship, and add a few million to his price. Also, he's young and English (or scottish by his great great great great great grandmother twice removed) so you can add a "0" to any figure he is actually worth

 

If anyone finds out he's Scottish I think you'll find the 0's will be disappearing

I've heard we stood a pretty good chance of signing him January, not sure if lambert going changes it but It would be a coup signing. He'll be brilliant
