Previous proud wearers, Rodney, Stan B, Simon Stainrod have all had their moments of petulance. However nobody else playing for us at this time has the skills and ability to captivate us the way Adel does when in the mood. Fully justifed IMO. Stan Bowles in particular went missing twice a year because he was homesick. He grew up and became indispensable to successive managers. As Neil Warnock used to say when we were in the Championship, when he performed he was worth the entrance money alone.

I think it is fair to say that Adel Tarabbt is a polarizing figure. Either you love him or hate him.

I like him as a player, when his head is in the game. He is creative, has great ball handling skills and nicely places a shot.

I have only just seen the news and am absolutely DELIGHTED!! He is such an exciting talent and I think he fully deserves the iconic no.10 shirt. Isn't it such a different position to be in when he is keen to stay here because of the direction of the club as opposed to being tempted through his agents to look elsewhere?

Thank you, Tony Fernandes and the Board. :). What an exciting season in prospect...

Me too mate. I understood your frustrations with him, but he could well set the Prem alight next season!!
BTW......do you think Swords is going to go onto every thread just to disagree and wind people up?

New York, anybody who doesn't get Adel doesn't get QPR. OK he can be infuriating, petulant and stupid, and there were times last autumn I could have strangled him. But his flair, imagination and nerve ( just to try some of the things he does, even if they don't come off) is pure QPR, and has been for all of the best times in the 40 years I've been following our team.
We put a solid team around him, let him off the leash, and we're going to have a lot of fun. And there will be times when I want to strangle him again as well.

We know he has but the brain of a lost and spoilt brat, but he has the heart and stomach of a true R. Aye, and of a Rangers' number 10 too!

    History repeating!!

Great post I think however that Adel may find himself on the bench on the away fixtures. Unless its A easy three points at Norwich etc

This is a key point FFS. I would like to see MH use his talents properly. We now have plenty of players who can work hard in our midfield SWP, Mackie, Park even Smith will run miles. Adel has to have license to thrill. He can give the killer pass and open up a team in less than a heart beat. He can't do it chasing down opposition players all game. Yes, he has to work hard, thats a given but we must use him more in the opposition half where he can and will do damage.

I agree with this and it was his free role in our 4-2-3-1 formation in the promotion year that allowed him to do just that. I can't see MH playing that system though, although he may deploy it away from home. Adel could play between Park and Hoillet in front of Faurlin and Diakite, with Cisse up front. Not too shabby that!!

regardless of a lot of previous posts, I think this is a good signing. not jumping through hoops yet, like some; but defo shows a we meqan bussiness.

I really hope he gets his head down and delivers this season, as now (and this is the bad part) he has a top team and players around him...therefore..he has no more excuses.!!

We all know he has the skill and ability, lets hope this is the kick up the arse he needed to get him to perform.

I really hope he does, as he can be magnificent on his day, but.....

Here's to hoping...Come on Adel..show us what your made of.....

Do you know what lets keep that twit Barton as well ... Just to let him watch Adel play without getting shouted at

The perfect punishment for Joey and the realization that he isn't good enough to get into the team ... Maybe after 12 matches he will want to play the right way ?

He proved me wrong a few times last season could he do it again?

What a squad we have now

    Altogether
