Told you he was going nowhere. It doesn't matter who we bring in,the team will be built around him. This new contract is a massive moment for our future!
Get in! YES YES YES YES YES Honestly, no signing we could possibly do would make me this happy. Four years! Fantastic!!! And #10, it's perfect! Not since Wegerle have we had a proper #10. The shirt looks great with Taarabt and 10, got to get me one of those. I'm so happy right now, this means I'll get to see my fav R play for us for a long long time, more than I could dream of. Thank you Tony for making all this happen. Yours sincerely An R in tears, OF JOY!
Yes I remember that too. That idiot ABITB kept calling him Trabant do you remember? (pretty sure he is Hoopster on here)
****ing brilliant. Our stock will keep rising with someone of his sheer quality in the side. Just goes to show that all this talk of him leaving was.... [drum roll please].... much Adel about nothing. [assumes crash position]
It was Don Rogers - and he hardly set the terraces alight at QPR - Shame, when he went to Palace he was brilliant... Great news on Tarbs, this has been a great summer so far for the R's...
Great news. Many of you never saw Marsh or Bowlesy live but they were great and both helped us move up a notch. I still feel a shiver down my spine when I think of Wembley resounding to 'RODNEY, RODNEY'. When you are our age I hope you can look back on Adel and know this signing is as important. QPR have a history of the occaisional sublime entertainer. It still wont make Swords happy.
Yeah, I know. He was a very skillful and clever player, but I never warmed to him - partly because I feared his arrival would mean Stan would be sold, but mainly because he's one of those players you strongly associate with a particular club - in his case Swindon - and he never looked right in Hoops. Great news on Adel, and the 10 shirt makes perfect sense. Good to know somebody in the hierarchy knows their history.
Croydon. Do you remember the 'boy' stating he had emailed the club to instuct them not to sign him. what a !!!!!!
What, by giving the West Ham crowd the finger?!!! Jesus North, you're losing your touch mate. Remember the game at Hull? Stan Bowles nor any of our number 10's carried on like that. Still, its all done and dusted now and the boy has been given another chance. I hope to God he takes it this time.
The best thing about this is that although all those behind the scenes at the club are relatively new someone (presumably Fernandez) has done the research and understands just how precious the #10 shirt is to us. Taarabt is definitely the man to follow in the footsteps of Marsh, Bowles etc. if he can get his head together. What a summer!
And only 23. Very good news for QPR and I suspect Adel's bank manager will be happy too. Roll on 18.8.12
