One of my favourite historical figures, Jean Meslier, lived his life as a priest to please his parents, and it was found after his death that he had written a book-length essay denouncing all religion. In doing so, he outed all members of the church who claimed to be in communication with God as frauds. He wrote some wonderful stuff, turning deists' arguments against them and showing religion for what it really was. He devoted his whole life to religion, and then showed it up as both illogical and fraudulent. Everyone needs to read about this man.

 

It simply means that no one is capable of disproving God, as no one is capable of disproving anything. That's where the flying spaghetti monster argument comes from - you can't disprove that either.
