    Absolutely delusional. They branded Dempsey 'too old' for their team. Despite the fact that the first name on their team sheet next season will be a 32 year old in Gerrard.

    Don't forget that despite them finishing level on points with us and having got themselves a manager that finished 11th, they still represent a step up!

    Surprised at that, you can say what want about Scousers, but they're usually knowledgeable fans, he'd be a good signing for them.
    Thought the only reason he wanted to leave was for the Champions league though? Can't see them getting in that any time soon.
