Jealous of what? Other than the CL we've won every trophy you have and our trophy haul is better. Superiority? You won the FA Cup you must be so proud. The CL win was impressive but also extremely lucky. Over 38 games we finished 3rd and you finished 6th not to mention we beat you at your place during our bad run. You have to rely on Toress to fill in the gap Drogba's left. Good luck with that.
So you beat us during your "bad run". Well done, we'd much rather have beaten you than won the CL and FA cup wouldn't we? We had one bad season due to a **** up in management and normal service will be resumed in just over a month. Love the comment about Torres by the way. Who the **** is going to replace Van rapist? you won **** all with him and you'll have no chance of signing anyone as prolific so you're screwed mate pure and simple.
Wow. That's all you have. A charge against him which was proven false. last I checked you finished in a LOWER position under "good" management than you were in with AvB BTW Podolski and Giroud will do just fine.
What's all I have? the Van rapist comment? That was for laughs, read the rest of it and tell me me if you'd rather finish 3rd and win **** all or finish 6th and win the FA cup and CL. Now reply honestly before you print anymore bollocks and stop sucking that lemon,.
You finish above us for the first time in 8 years, win **** all while Chelsea win TWO trophies (ONE YOU'LL NEVER WIN) and you're trying to crow about it. Dear oh dear.
Well we bid the same as chelsea for Hazard it seems and this was after we had already started bidding ( perhaps even agreed ) for Kagawa so I think we do have. We are looking at wasting 15million or so on a 27/8 year old left back who is no better than the one we have so yeh, we have money to waste....... or like wasting money we have lol. Only at United, £400million in debt and over paying for Baines...
The worst chelsea side in a decade almost just won the CL and FA Cup. Arsenals team cant get much worse lads, there a shoe in for the CL next season.
Name me 5 players that played under Herbert Chapman without googling, that's assuming you even know who he is. What revelance do trophies won 80 odd years ago have now? And yeah I am proud we won the FA Cup. Having behind the goal for the replay against Birmingham, in joy as Meireles and Mata smashed those goals in which marked the beginning of a new era and then at the Semi when we smashed Spurs 5-1 there was no better feeling than winning the FA Cup, I was far more nervous throughout the FA Cup Final than I was in the CL Final. Winning trophies is not why I or any other Chelsea fan on here started supporting Chelsea, after all even when we're good we never won much. We support Chelsea because he have an emotional bond to the club one way or another. With all due respect I wouldn't understand an American Arsenal fan to understand the history and tradition of the FA Cup as you most likely started following the club in the Wenger era when Arsenal were good hence spoilt by success but to the many Arsenal fans out there it means a lot. There were Arsenal fans in tears when they lost the FA Cup a semi to us in 2009. It holds so much value to a lot of people albeit attempts to belittle it. And yeah we were lucky to win the CL but we've been no luckier than any other teams. The last 2 times Barca won it It was partly due to scandalous refereeing in the semi's despite their superiority in the respective finals. United last won it due to a penalty slip on a plastic pitch. Milan were comfortably outplayed by Liverpool in Athens, Arsenal lost in Paris due to an offside goal and a 1 man deficit for almost the entire game. Liverpool won it in 2005 due to something that would not happen again if the game was repeated 1000 times. It's just an attempt to mark a stain on our success but next year someone will be luckier than us and people will move on, that's football. Fuelled by bitterness of fans like Arsenal who are in the wilderness with no real future.
Top top post District. I'd say you put him in his place...that place being on the end of a big size 10 right up his 'arris.
ah yes,Herbert Chapman, the old Tottenham player, had to turn to an ex spur to make them any good,South East london nomads
Don't understand this point? Greaves joined a hugely successful Spurs side that had just won the double. He's the greatest striker the club ever had but there was also 10 other fantastic players playing alongside him. Am i missing your point?
Have you any knowledge of pre CL football,Jimmy Greaves was signed in 1962,After we had won the double, check your fact's CPofL
No he wasn't. He was signed in 1961 after a short stint abroad he went to you. The same year he left Chelsea
It's that reason why for me United will always be a bigger club than Liverpool no matter how many more European cups Liverpool have won Many (not all) Liverpool fans bang on about history and what they've won whilst United don't dither and just move onto the next trophy. We slam Spurs but at least they have ambition to improve and don't want to continue being ****. Some Arsenal fans need a serious reality check
He might've been signed in 1961, but the point still remains that he didn't contribute to the 60/61 double winning side as he joined after we'd won the two cups. It's like claiming Marko Marin was responsible for Chelsea's double last year.
