I think the ignore button is excellent, I would've used it loads on 606! And it takes away the necessity of bothering mods. If somebody gets on your wick, you can ignore. Sometimes you might find a WUM funny and tolerate them. But the ignore facility allows you to decide.

Then again, we didn't get the BBC mods overtly WUMing .

Leon I do not have an issue with what Northolt or anyone else says it is when pictures like the one yesterday appear. When you have a young daughter who may see that and a wife who will obviously take the wrong thought that is the proble. I do not like swearing as that is not needed to show an idea and I can switch the swear box on.

Silly pictures is a different thing and if someone is promoted to a position of trust they should be able to shown they deserve it. I know there will be the silly ones and if they continue they should have the privelege withdrawn.

Does the person I am speaking of place his sillyness in other threads as well or are we honoured.

    Morning all.

Not back till midnight so a late morning coffee today. Enjoyed last night's game...placed at a decent pace, plenty of attacking play and a result I'd have settled for in advance. Shame DG didn't get on the end of Deeney's header though.

I've only had time to read back a few posts this morning. What's a sticky thread? Nothing to do with spilled honey I presume...

Afternoon all, a very quick f_coffee.gif please ak. The sun has come out and my department has become way too busy. In early and not finishing till 8pm for the last couple of nights (so much for being able to delegate my work). Still at least we are busy, some of our competitors have not been so lucky and stopped trading so I mustn't grumble.

So I'll say my hello's to everyone now and hope to be back on the board in the next couple of days. :)

Thanks Ak - I have sent a note to Northolt asking him effectively to moderate himself - at least on our boards - we will see if he does

Afternoon all from a nippy Bandit Country....had a bit of an emergency in the Dacha this morning and have had to work from home again today.

I see that our dear Foreign Secretary is preeching the delivery of democracy in Libya - yes these idiots are taking us down the road of another invasion and war just to please another set of dictators who want to take over a country in the name of democracy....grrrrr

Just so long as ground troops do not go in - surely they know the UK people would not support that
