looking at those goal Northy , one tap in and 6 corkers.

Remember him being one of the most dangerous individuals at LR last season , with pace to burn.

He would be a great signing but honestly can't see it happening... I can see him going to a top 6 club. If Hughes pulls this one off it would be one of the signings of the decade!!

Depends how greedy he is, something tells me our offer will be the best.

For me its not just getting a great young player now , but his sell on value could be immense if he has a cracking season or 2. Could be the best bit of business we have done in many a year.

    Have we missed out?

Some indications on Twitter that he's going to Newcastle instead...

He's let us down before with his tweets, hope it's for real this time. Would love to see a few more come in and plenty more go out.

What's the big panic? We are just 11 DAYS into a 62 DAY window. Patience, I think our guys know what they're doing...

For ‪#QPR‬ fans: Hoillett is likely to cost up to £5 million in compo, plus wages of £50k per week. ‪#NUFC‬ not prepared to pay that. ‪#BRFC

Not so sure about that. Seemingly they've offered £40k which is short of what his dad, who is his agent, is prepared to settle for. He no doubt has been touted to lots of clubs but daddies being daddies, he may go for the highest offer which may be us. Who knows?

Even as things stand today there are going to be several frustrated midfielders on our books this season. Park has clearly come on the promise of regular football that he cannot get at Old Trafford It would be the same with Hoilett were he to come and we would be nuts not to play Diakite. You get the feeling that Mackie and Taarabt will be victims of all this sadly.

MH very clever this time around ... team needs to bond soon as ... you only get that with experienced players ... best squad QPR have ever had IMO... looking forward to Flyer's and Col's formation tips ... IMO opinion we will have two sides: one to smash anyone in this league at home and one to hold with strong arm away from home ... these players are now the building blocks ... Read that we are a old peoples home how wrong those people are:

Tarrabt, Faurlin, Diakite will all become world class. and of course AT apart from ZZ is the best player I have seen on the ball ... for those of you who disagree boil your heads Taarabt will become a true classic
