Looks like Met Police have bottled it. I understood Brentford were willing to let us have another stand to increase their gate receipts.

No doubt Saints will be blamed if our fans end up in the home end as they are bound to do.

Thats a shame. It would have been great to have around 5000-6000 as was being talked about.

I agree, real shame that we won't have more there. As CBK says the Met have clearly bottled it and i'm sure they have their reasons as we are such a badly behaved away crowd!
It does raise the question though of what they will do on the day when there could be a whole block or more of Saints fans in the home end? - Which i'm sure will happen at Plymouth anyway.
I'm not bitter as I know that i'll qualify in the 1700 but we could have made it a huge day out!!

Surely its safer just to open that extra stand up for Saints fans, than having them in all the home sections.

    I'm gutted.
Leyton Orient have a capacity of just over 9000 and gave us 3500 tickets, we behaved impeccably as far as I'm aware and it was a fantastic day out.
Brentford have a capacity of over 12000, haven't managed to get a total crowd of more than 6600 in the league all season. Why can they only give us 1800 tickets ? I bet we could have sold 5000 easily, and still behaved impeccably - win or lose.
It's not as if they are likely to be on the verge of the play off's so the result shouldn't make too much difference to them and they could have made an extra £60000 out of tickets.
