The last 4/5 days have been mental, with some really strange new members, a couple of WUM's from other clubs, regular posters changing their names (ok, not as bad as the whole Hoopster/Hoppster thing), some overly touchy comments and some overly sensitive comments (one being from me) New stadium announcements, one new signing (so far) this week, a whole new market opening up in Asia, possible new posters from Korea, the whole JT trial, etc etc ad nauseum. And through all that, Oddball still seems to be missing. Can we please have a couple of days where I can read every post, reply without fear of getting my head bitten off or offending anyone, know who everyone is, have threads that stay ON topic for more than 5 posts, and only sign respected, known central defenders who are under 30?
Houston we have a problem! Seriously though, by the very nature of the close season, the forum goes a bit mad. Its a good, noble idea Houston but I don't know how long it would last. I think it will most likely die down a bit now that everyone got summat off their chests today.
This is the problem when there's no football to talk about, hopefully pre-season tours will keep people occupied
I only rarely join in with a lot of these threads that wander way off topic and everyone argues, I do find them hugely entertaing sometimes. The Terry thread was agoodun. People deliberately mis understanding each other. Fun to read and a lot of it funny and articulate. But if I said my bit, I'd feel just like Houston. So I'll just enjoy the banter
I thought the Terry trial thread was a very good read. Yes, there were arguements and disagreements but for the most part, it was good natured. The effin language left a lot to be desired at times.
Well done DL i have never disagreed with your posts always on the ball ... shame you support a bunch of ****ters
