I guess I must have just saw the best elements of him. I honestly thought Sinclair and Gylfi were your best players last season but you would have seen far more game time than I did. I don't know much about Laudrups coaching style, he is a man to e respected though. I hope the swans are ok, as I said before I genuinely like them.
I am sure we will be okay, gulfi is a loss to us, but we only had him from the end of January so for most the season we had others. As for laudrup he has been hired specifically not to change our style of play, unlike other clubs where they have changes when a new man comes in, our chairman looks for managers who fit us not the other way around. If you look at our board you will see the swans fans eager to get underway, we are very optimistic on our season coming.
That 2nd season always seems to be the hardest for 'new' boys. Having a change of manager might actually benefit you though. I also thought I read/heard that you actually had a better points ratio prior to Gylfi joining.
Yes we did, but he helped with his goals the same as Borini did the season before. It's always tough but I am sure the swans will be ok as well as norwich.
na swansealona have been found out i think..they couldnt buy an away win last season and im sure once their home form dips its back to the championship for them!
So is what he said is true ? Come on we were 10 points clear of you. Saying we were found out is a fallacy as we had already gained the points to stay up.
What he said had nothing to do with how many points you got or whether or not you were found out. He said we couldn't buy a win unless the opposition had a player sent off which doesn't make a lot of sense when very few players were sent off against us.
I think you'll find that I said that, but you stayed up by the skin of your teeth, you lost 21 games and had a very poor dec-feb you were lucky not to go down.
Nothing to do with luck. We were the 17th best team in the league in spite of giving everyone else a head start.
So in other words you weren't reliant on other results going for you, you lost your last game of the season so it was outside your hands, yes you were 17th but were also lucky
I don't really see how luck comes into it over the course of the season. We were better than Bolton over the course of the season. In the two games between the teams, one was at the start of the season when the club was in chaos and in one we were denied a goal from a header two feet over the line. The luck was against us for the majority of the season and we still finished above them so you can call it lucky if you wish but you'd be wrong.
You were lucky on the last day of the season, things happened in other games that benefitted you, that was completely out of your hands. You lost the last game of the season so didn't really effect anything yourselves. There was an element of luck involved on the day itself not really on the season as it sorts itself out over the course
