Interesting comment he has made about why it took too long - said they had other options and were waiting for solicitors to advise on best deal - wonder what his other options were?

I questioned this and apparently there are two in the same family with the same name, we shall see but yes, he has said he has no interest so I guess it means he will be the new owner, seems to be the way to do it

Seth Johnson's contract negotiations with Leeds were told on Talksport by his agent.

Johnson was earning £5,000 a week at Derby and his agent told him they should go for £15,000 but not settle for less than £10,000 a week.

Ridsdale's opening offer surprised them both. "Right, I'm sorry but I can only offer you £30,000 a week," Shocked silence followed "Oh, all right then," said Ridsdale, "£37,000"

Ive heard that story from many different sources. Im pretty sure its true

 

Ridsdale wrote about his naivety in that negotiation in his book. Anyone who has it can look up if those amounts are accurate.
