I think it doesn't really matter how many mods there are, any time we've attempted to placate a situation we've been abused and I don't see why that would change if there was another mod. I do, however, think Mabon is ideal.
I would if I thought I wasn't one of the people better suited to doing it. I never wanted to be a mod, but I know I'm a lot more balanced in my opinions than a lot of posters so I feel I do a better job than most would. If the consensus was that wasn't the case I'd happily give it up.
That is why you do a good job, I can't be middle of the road and be diplomatic, I just say it as it is. Franchise fans would be banned because they bend over for the ting tongs, and then have the affront to come here moralising it all. **** em !
I agree Scott. I could never do it as I'm one of those who tends to have strong opinions on a lot of things and just can't see where other people are coming from on times, even if they may have a valid point. Hope my wife doesn't read this. You and JA do a grand job very objectively and it's only the usual suspects who give you a hard time. We all know who they are, but I think the majority outnumber them and you'll always get backing from most of us.

It's rather insulting to say 'harden up' imo. You haven't been in the position where you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Musty, you know full well there are a couple of jokers on here who don't exactly make life easy for the mods. One thing I can agree on, if I was Scott I'd just tell them to **** off. But that's me.

Phil and Vetch, What started me off was the style of writing. It just didn't come across as being from one of us and always a slight dig at our regulars on here. I watched and waited to be honest. When Rodgers left he resurfaced and posted 20 threads in 20 days all full of doom and gloom and in all he tried to undermine posters like he did recently with FFS "having a chuckle" thread. Since we appointed ML and all has been good in the world we haven't seen him except for that one dig at FFS. If we don't get off to a good start I fully expect to see him again. Personally I think it's either Swamp or Proph in disguise.
I am convinced he is a Cardiff fan, and I think swan and only is him as well, both have gone from here now that things have calmed down
It's very interesting as to why anyone would want to have more than one identity. The idea has never occurred to me,although a couple of cornered bloobs did accuse me of being someone else. The anonymity of the forum surely dictates that there is really no need to masquerade as someone else. Perhaps they are all Geminis. Merely changing a name is something different,and I can see why changes occasionally take place. As for casual,I can now see why some were convinced that he was from The Theatre of Nightmares. His most recent posting gave me food for thought,and I challenged him. There was no rebuttal,so that, more or less confirmed it.
