Kezenga Lua Lua, Nile Ranger and Phil Airey

Brighton look like a team that could push for promotion in consecutive seasons. Gus Poyet is a great coach and a manager, i'm sure he could get the best out of our young prospects.

Should we offer these 3 players to him on loan?

They all look extremely promising. Lua Lua did very well in league one for Brighton, he knows the team and he was probably their best player. I'm sure Gus would agree to take Kazenga back and also these two other prospects. Heck we should even agree to pay their wages, i'm pretty sure they're all on below 10k a week.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Kazenga has proven himself in the lower levels, Phil Airey looks awesome in the reserves, but i don't think we should spoil a talent like we are with Ranger. Ranger is a fantastic player, but needs regular starts, and a man like Poyet should be able to help him mature as a player.

The PL is just too much for Ranger at the moment and he wont learn if we don't give him regular starts. He can destroy defenses in this league, he could do it in the CC.

 

Well next season has to be Vuckics year or we could lose him. Airey yes, Ranger depends on signings and Lua Lua give him the US preseason games to show what he can do after his leg break

 

I'd be fairly happy with that, although Kazenga may be worth a chance with the first team squad

Back on subject,
LuaLua - no
Airey - yes
Ranger - no

Simply because LuaLua is probably good enough for the first team (or at least the squad)
Airey could do with some experience
Only one of Ranger/Airey would play at Brighton, because of Glenn Murray, and I think Airey would do better at that level. Ranger to a champ club like Derby. (Just a random one I thought of, not suggesting he should go to Derby).

Anyway yeah, not a bad idea. Although, I'd rather see Lua Lua and Airey get some EPL game time first, to see how they play. We know that Ranger isn't there yet, but we won't know about the other two until we give them a run out.

 

I think LuaLua will want to go back because of him breaking his leg there. Anyone seen the new Brighton stadium

In fact, they should introduce an award and make the image a little bullseye target, and then give it for people who get abused the most.

 

Yes, they love Lua Lua down there and no doubt they would probably take one more on. Would be fantastic experience with already 16,000 season tickets sold they would be playing in front of a good crowd.

 

Actually no that's wrong really, i only get abused on certain threads, it's just most people remember the few ones that start flame wars.
