Who Knows...The favourite for blame is everyone's choice chinese whispers site....Twitter.
It may still turn out to be true though. He really could be Liverpools first signing. But the point is that, at this moment in time, this is still just a rumour. Even being published on the BBC wont make it any more true just yet. I remember The BBC reporting a certain Icelander going to Anfeild for instance.

Borini and Siggy are BOTH class and we were priviledged to have them, shame it couldnt have been longer but we cant compete with the kind of money the big boys have- time to put it all behind us and wish them all t he best inc Brendan of course:wink:

Imagine the team we'd have if we could play both of them. All it takes is money of course but, as I've stated many times, I would not be prepared to pay the sort of dosh they are demanding.

How can you say we are going nowhere ? Come on the fees are not beyond us, but salaries of £50k-£60k a week are. We operate within a structure not an irresponsible way.

I loved Borini playing for us but I'm not convinced he'll be robust enough for the Prem. Yes, I'm serious. £8M is over the top imo, but hey, this is a club that spent £35M on Carroll <laugh>

I'm waiting for the day when Musty will write something longer than a one-line throwaway comment <laugh>

He looked good for Roma last season. Looks a good finisher, scored a lovely goal against Roma.

Whether he's a world class talent or otherwise, he's the type of striker we don't have at the club and a worthy addition, if it happens.

Was his freekick vs Norwich a one-off?

If you think Borini is your answer and you don't need Suarez anymore - can we borrow him please.

Would you accept Stewart Downing wearing a Suarez shirt?

Not unless he's a good boot polisher ... we'll take Suarez. I'll pay the petrol.

NI, seems he has a reputation for free kicks. Can't remember if he got another one for us but there was a lot of comment about how he based his method on that used by Drogba when they were at Chelsea together.

That's the only one I've seen him score.

I wonder if he's like Ronaldo, needs around 400 of them to actually score.

We paid 3.5 Million for Graham, Borini is easily valued at 8 Million on that basis, and if we were prepared to pay 7.2 Million for Siggy, then we should without doubt gate crash the Liverpool Borini deal, if there is one of course!.............. <ok>

If he chooses to stay at Roma ahead of Liverpool he'll hardly go back to Swansea, realistically.
