"After the initial "yay, they're losing their best player" feeling i actually feel quite sorry for Arsenal fans now." Me,too. But now I'm back to "Yay, they're losing their best player!"
Oh, dear! How desperate can one man get! I said, two years ago, that RVP would not be renewing his contract, and that he would be looking to move on to better things. A small (but powerful) minority of Gooners on your board took exception to this, despite the fact that I argued my case articulately and never resorted to base, personal insults or vitriol (unlike those who took exception to what I wrote), and it ended with my being banned from your board. Two years later, I have been proven correct. All of my arguments - every single one of them - have proven to be correct. Those Gooners who had me drummed off your board because they were too immature and unable to hold an intelligent argument with me (and had they done so, they would have been proven wrong) ought now to hold their heads in shame. I deserve an apology, but I am acutely aware of the degraded calibre of human beings that I am dealing with, so I do not live in expectation of receiving one. I trust that that clarifies matters sufficiently for you, Gooner?
I just read that you created another thread called "Arsenal's new banner" you are digging yourself a grave, its becoming more and more evident to me that the reasons you were banned from our board was because of your obsession. Your last paragraph was hilarious if all of your arguments were proven correct then what about you finishing above us last season or challenging for the league?
We ended up collapsing because of Redknapp's infatuation with the England job. But the fact is this, for a large part of last season we were actually in contention for the title, you never were. That's a sobering thought, isn't it, Gooner?

RVP's Medal Haul at L'Arse... One FA cup, one Community Shield, and some Emirates Cups....he won more with Feyenoord!....more cause for smiles!
That made me chuckle, not least of all because it's probably not that far from the the truth. I loved the Fergie joke, too.
Another comedy classic, the gift that keeps giving dose it again, congratulations sir, the sad thing is that you genuinely still think that you had a chance of the title, and the winner of most deluded fans goes to..........
No, I don't think that, and neither is that what I wrote. You obviously don't understand the concept of logic - and the ironic thing is that that fact prevents you from engaging me in any meaningful discussion on the subject. I am merely pointing to the fact that whilst we were, for a prolonged spell in contention for the title (regardless of of our chances of winning it), AFC never were, such that their one-man fight-back to pip us to third by 1 point was seen by all Gooners as some kind of trophy in itself. You really cannot understand how embarrassing you sound.
nonsense talking.....is it fir to say you have never ever really been in contention to win the CL? even when you was in the final? because that is how it looks like to the rest of europe. i wonder if that is how you see it..i bet your proud of your team when they enter into competitons knowing and believeing full well that they are just there to make up the numbers.....what a rubbish statement you made..your not even a football fan to say that a fan should not have aspirations for their team..if we never were in the title hunt..you will never win it because your club is constantly up there but never can deliver..ohh and RVP agrees with me it seems.
"Arsenal are said to be poised to make a move for Moses, 21, after uncertainty over the winger's future." (Source: Metro) Oh, dear! It's all so very sad.
I don't know where to begin at unraveling the delusions seeping from this post (taken from a thread on the Gooner board entitled "RvP will be playing for Arsenal next season"). ...challenging for the title... ...convince RvP to stay... ...while things are going well... The list is endless.
"Arsenal are said to be poised to make a move for Moses, 21, after uncertainty over the winger's future." (Source: Metro) Wouldn't work, didn't Moses lead the Israelites to the promised land?
