Might try that with saints, by signing British players up to a point, before moving onto English, and then finally just getting players through the academy.

Is the playoff final in the Blue Square North/South not played on a neutral ground? It seems I'll be playing at home (not that I'm complaining).
Tempted to do that challenge with Crewe, although the guy only ended up playing a handful of games, and if you were to play every one it would take forever to reach the point he has got to by just holidaying. Sounds as if it would be epic though!

I wish I had the patience to do a save like that. If you holiday too long eventually your assistant runs out of contract therefore your players contracts expire and they leave. Also I wonder how good his finances will be on that save??
For a few years, he has a new stadium loan crippling him minorly, but now I think he's in the hundreds of millions.
Nah I think you'll have to make sure to take breaks from holiday to see to contracts and stuff. Also it's a good idea to return from holiday on March 13th so you can make offers to youth candidates.
Might give it a go, but with Saints instead of Crewe. I'm surprised you can terminate your whole first teams contracts though.

Debrecini would be best as they're in an EU country. Don't think any of the others are. Actually Apollon are as well.
Anyone know how to work that Genie Scout thing? I bought the 'g' version yesterday (still waiting for my code to download it) but had a fiddle with the free version and can't seem to work out how to use it! Is it supposed to integrate with the game, or am I supposed to run my FM game through it? Anyone advise?
