    Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere has dismissed speculation he could leave Emirates Stadium for Manchester City in the summer.

    The youngster wrote on his Twitter account: "People asking if I'm going City? I don't kiss the Arsenal badge then leave.

    "This club in my heart."

    And yes I know Carroll said something similar when he was here , but this just sounds like it's from the bottom of his heart <ok>

    I bet it helps that Arsenal are competing for the League and are in the Champions League every year though

    Not that Liverpool are. And also Enrique hasn't left yet.

    Well I think it's about time to say he wants to stay , so he can dismiss the speculation. If it isn't already a done deal...

    Yeah definitely, I think there is definitely contact between the two clubs about the transfer and we have probably accepted, but I think he's unsure on whether to go or not. Otherwise I think we would have heard from him.

    Good point. The only reason Wilshire would go to City is for the money. As much as I hate to admit it, Andy Carroll has a better chance of competing in the Champs League and winning the occasional cup with Liverpool than with us.(and the extra £50k pw helps)

    Having said that, I still feel that the club couldn't refuse the £35 million and wanted him to go.

    Jose has stated that when we are safe he'll start talking about his contract.

    He doesn't really have to come out and refute the rumours as we're still in the hunt for safety.

    The club and players still have a job to do and I'm happy that contract talks aren't diverting his attention from the task in hand.

    Get the points and then talk.

    You can't really tell who means it or not. Rooney kisses the UTD badge, but i bet my bottom dollar he'll not spend his career there, SAF is too much of a control freak.

    Wilshere is such a little prick. Seriously, I hate that ****er. All his little tweets after games crying about refs or whatever. Plus his little tantrums on the pitch really piss me off. Great player though.

    At least his tweets are better than Rio Ferdinand, though - he tries to come across as some sort of intellect when you can tell he's got the brain cells of a ****ing plank of wood.
