Of course it is I posted in the Greenbrier Post that I had a £1 E/W on both Simon Dyson & Raphael Jacqueline Jacqueline came in 3rd I bet him at 80/1 so i got 1/4. Of the odds. So I got 20/1 lucky old me
Ron its not that the European tour is boring or in anyway less exciting than the PGA, but from a betting point of view i find that the PGA is easier to pick from than the European. The fact that the courses over here vary so much takes a lot of studying, plus the scoring can be erratic. By that i mean one week the winner will hit -10 and win a tournament then the next week he wont feature anywhere near the top 50. The PGA is a more formulaic kind of tour where the courses don't vary much in design, apart from the old course's like the one we have just had at Greenbrier, and so are easier to read into the players form. Both are as good as each other in my opinion...
Cheers Red. Not being a Golf expert I wouldn't know that sort of thing. I just came across the European Tour and thought it might be worth setting up an index (as for PGA). Is it worth leaving there; I can easily take it down. Don't forget you can be in total charge of the index as it's under your name.
Many thanks my own opinion is that I just like a golf tournament where I can get a wee bet on I obvously love the majors but I think that you are doing a very good job on here so keep it up and thanks once again
