It is illegal to swear and cause offence in public. If both were calling each other effing c's, you'd get warned or arrested if you continued. Maybe the CPS should look at Ferdinand's admittance of using offensive langauge? Terry has somewhat shot himself in the foot by uttering the words in the first place, even if it stacks up that he was asking Ferdinand if that's what he thought he said. But, it's easy to say now he should have turned his back and walked away. If he is a true racist, no one woudl play with him for Chelsea or England and as someone has also said, his 'hatred' would have shone through by now based on the number of years he has been in the game.
