Thoughts on Hoilett? Many seemed keen on him around January, but everything seems to have gone a bit quiet. Personally I think he'd be good and much needed back-up to out current wingers, but nothing more.
If we start playing 433 with AVB then I'd definitely have him. To be honest I think he'd be worth a punt even in a more withdrawn role but I definitely rate him as a wide forward and he'd provide great competition for Lennon and Bale at a reasonable price.
i'm surprised how quiet the media have been linking us to him as of late, so it probably means that he's not a AVB player, and he was always a "harry" player.
Apparently Newcastle were interested but his wage demands were too high- doesn't say how much though. Moutinho is talking to us with a fee of 20 mil mentioned ,but its all dependent on what Modric does- if he goes then we probably will get Moutinho to replace him. I think VDV will be off - can't see where he fits into a 4-3-3 system which I think is a formality for us next season IMO
Hoilett's been linked with loads of clubs and I get the impression that he'll join the best Premier League or Bundesliga side that'll both pay his wage demands and give him a lot of starts. Unfortunately I don't think that it will be us, as he'd have a lot of competition for his place.
Sigurdsson is a much better fit into a midfield 3 from what I have seen of him. VDV will not like playing a less advanced role judging from comments he has made in the past.
