• Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Grosjean

• Funniest-moment: Nothing

Best Driver: Felipe Massa - he's taken so much **** from fans this season but today I thought he drove really well and was the equal of Webber and Alonso. It was a fine performance that reminisced of the Massa from old.

Worst Driver: Maldonado - I don't want to give it to him again but he's got to realise when to pull out of a move. He is harming other drivers races, his team but most of all he is harming himself.

Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Grosjean - recovered well after a bad start

Best Team: Ferrari - quick all weekend. Ferrari are back!

Worst Team: McLaren - will write about them later but serious questions have to be asked. This was unacceptable and I feel for their many many loyal fans most of whom congregated today hoping for something better.

Best Overtake: Alonso and Hamilton - different strategies yes but it was pure racing

Funniest moment: DC and Brundle on the grid. Wondered whether they'd have a quick chat together over two different channels!

Most Surprising Result: McLaren being so slow.

Least Surprising Result: Red Bull

Special Mention to: The Great British fans. It is a universe away from the soulless hells of Abu Dhabi and Bahrain. They make the British Grand Prix and they were as good as ever this weekend. It's classic weekends like this, along with weekends like the pure racing of Belgium, the class of Monaco and the searing passion of Monza which makes Formula One the sport we all love.

Best Driver: Both Alonso and Webber as I don't think either of them really made a mistake.
Worst Driver: Another tie between Rosberg and Maldonado. Rosberg for generally being lacklustre and Maldo for not knowing when to use the soft squidgy thing between his ears.
Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Grosjean again impressing.
Best Team: Going to give this one to Ferrari for proving that their resurgence is in full flow
Worst Team: McLaren, enough excuses now. Actions speak louder than words.
Best Overtake: Hamilton on Alonso when Alonso had his DRS open and Hamilton didn't.
Funniest-moment: Eddie interviewing Hugh Grant about his new film and Hugh talking about rape. Bit of an odd sense of appropriateness for the occasion.
Most Surprising Result: Hamilton finishing in the same place that he started in.
Least Surprising Result: Maldo being in another altercation.
Special Mention to: Kobi for being very racy before nearly taking out his entire right hand side pit crew.
Race Rating: 6.5/10 1st half was great and 2nd half kind of petered out until the last few laps.
Best Commentator overall: No one really stood out for me. Ben and DC got confused a hell of a lot and couldn't tell which driver they were looking at half the time. Give it to Gary Anderson for his usual solid performance and insight.

•Best Driver: Begins with a "W" and ends in "ebber"
•Worst Driver: Maldonado (or as Alan Jones called him "Pasta Marinara") but close with Kobayashi.
•Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Grosjean
•Best Team: Ferrari
•Worst Team: McLaren
•Best Overtake: Massa on Schumacher
•Funniest-moment: Alan Jones bad-mouthing Jean-Marie Balestre
•Most Surprising Result: There was no rain
•Least Surprising Result: Maldonado <doh>
•Special Mention to: Massa and Kimi
•Race Rating: 8/10

•Best Commentator overall: Both made heaps of mistakes so neither. Channel Ten can go **** themselves. Lost the race feed about a million times and had commercial breaks every four or so laps.

Best Driver: Mark Webber - great drive, never fell too far away or came into trouble with dropping into 3rd. Great communication with his team as well

Worst Driver: Maldonado - runing to many races, needs to look in the mirror and wonder why he's getting these penalties, should have a race ban. Bottas deserves his race seat

Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Grosjean - easily, getting more and more consistent

Best Team: Red Bull

Worst Team: HRT - get in the way all the time, just a general waste of space, time and money

Best Overtake: Hamilton-Alonso battle OR Hulkenberg-Senna battle

Funniest-moment: EJ's fan club. Would never see that with Sky

Most Surprising Result: Rosberg way outside the points

Least Surprising Result: Maldonado ruining someone's race again

Special Mention to: Alonso - controlled most of the race with an interesting strategy, though unfortunate with the last stint

Race Rating: 8 /10

Best Commentator overall: Coulthard

•Best Driver: Romain Grosjean. Came from miles back to finish an excellent 6th position. Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso obviously deserve plaudits too.
•Worst Driver:Pastor Maldonado. I'm grateful he took Perez out of the race, but he's too error prone, and lacks awareness
•Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne):Grosjean
•Best Team:Red Bull, pulled the strategy off perfectly
•Worst Team:Marussia. What is the point, even HRT are making forward strides
•Best Overtake:Bruno Senna on Hulkenberg
•Funniest-moment:
•Most Surprising Result:Felipe Massa 4th, finally a solid drive from him
•Least Surprising Result:Alonso and Vettel on the podium
•Special Mention to:Mclaren for doing excellent pitstops today, even if the car was pathetically slow.
•Race Rating: 7/10

•Best Commentator overall: Anyone who doesn't work for Sky.

• Best Driver: Webber - Beast of a lap in qualifying and then solid in the race
• Worst Driver: Maldonado - he's been a complete disaster since winning in Spain
• Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Grosjean - where was he after his stop? I'm sure he was about 22nd at one stage, then after the first round of stops he was eighth. Did I miss something? Incredible recovery.
• Best Team: Ferrari - I thought they got Alonso's strategy a bit wrong, they pitted too early both times in my opinion, they were very quick though, they keep getting stronger and stronger, remarkable turnaround.
• Worst Team: McLaren - opposite of Ferrari, they've going backwards fast
• Best Overtake: I liked Kobayashi's cheeky move on Grosjean early in the race
• Funniest-moment: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episod...2_The_British_Grand_Prix_Qualifying/?t=44m24s This genuinely made me laugh.
• Most Surprising Result: Schumacher - they looked the fastest team in FP3 to me and Schumacher said they'd gone for a dry setup, I thought he'd challenge for the win when I saw it was a dry race
• Least Surprising Result: Maldonado crashing into someone
• Special Mention to: McLaren's pit crew
• Race Rating: 7/10 - really exciting early on then fizzled out until Webber's late charge
• Best Commentator overall: Coulthard

•Best Driver: Mark webber, just pushed and gave Alonso a very hard time.
•Worst Driver:Pastor Maldonado/Rosberg. No words really, the result is self explanatory.
•Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne):Grosjean.
•Best Team:Red Bull.
•Worst Team:Mclaren, to say it was their home grand prix, bad strategy, bad weekend.

•Funniest-moment:Maldonadoh....
•Most Surprising Result:Felipe Massa 4th.

•Race Rating: 5/10.

•Best Commentator overall: Coulthard, because he was pretty unbiased for a change.

Best Driver: Webber - Brilliant at the end to reel in Alonso and take the win.
Worst Driver: Rosberg - Terrible race, after Mercedes looked so strong in FP3.
Best Rookie(Grosjean,Pic,Ricciardo,Vergne): Grosjean - Probably my joint best driver of the day. Fought his way back up the grid to finish 6th. Impressive.
Best Team: Ferrari - Have obviously caught up with Red Bull. Dangerous.
Worst Team: McLaren - Poor quali, poor race. If anything they keep going backwards rather than making strides forward. May as well start aiming for 2013.
Best Overtake: Vettel on Kimi.
Most Surprising Result: Massa getting 4th.
Least Surprising Result: Button having another nightmare.
Special Mention to: The fans.
