I played two formations in L2, this was the one I used at home. please log in to view this image I tended to drop an extra man back into midfield when I played away, and generally shored it up a bit more. I reckon I'll be using this formation a lot more this year. There are also a couple of newgens in there too.
I used Crewe due to them having one of the best Academies in the country. I got sacked and just made a new manager. And to holiday a whole season takes no more than a few of hours I reckon.
Did you get rid of Shaun Miller? He's 23 or something but he is an academy product of Crewe and he scored a ton of goals for me when I managed them.
I did get rid in this save. In another save I kept him before i saw the guy had released every single player above the age of 18.
If you have midfielders who can pass and move well, a 4231 is quality. Tears a 442 a new hole if your players are any good. A quick striker at the top will bang them in if the midfield does it's job.
I took Crewe to three consecutive promotions playing a 4-5-1 with Miller up front. I suppose Clayton is decent too though.
Yeah I'd do that. I think you'd get to keep Miller, Bell, Murphy, Tootle and Davis. There might be more as well.
