Blimey what a kerfuffle.

Firstly, no player at Town is on £15k because it was reported last week that a wage offer of that order would make a new signing the highest paid player.

Secondly, he's actually got 19 goals in 60 starts. He has suffered from being in and out the side but that tally shows that if he was given a full season of starts he'd probably net 20 goals in a season.

He offers far more than just scoring rope, he is excellent at holding up play and sneaking the ball in for others to hit a shot too.

Finally, he agreed to waiver the silly appearance related contract extension on the high wages he signed on and thoroughly deserves a new contract.

That is a player I want at Ipswich Town next season

exactly hampy, yet supers tend to only quote what he wants to. and it doesn't take a genius to work out at the moment Norwich will attract a better player than ipswich, so really i can't see the whole point of this thread! All that can be said is Jason Scotland conducted himself like a true gentleman in the whole process and as hampy said could have stuck to his guns quite rightly about his contract. Unlike some other mercenaries in the game at the moment!

well he was quoted by national newspapers 'bragging' to other players about his wages, so best take it up with them

and if ever there was a player likely to brag about his money, i'd put bullard at the top of the list to be honest!
