Lived in Gateshead and played locally till he was 17. He played as a ringer for us with Washington Dunlop in cup games at under 18 level and single handedly got us to the final (which he couldn't play and we lost) he signed for boro the same year. Not claiming to know him haven't seen him since n he wouldn't know me from Adam but have followed his career and he's scoredgoals wherever he's been. Would be a better bet than some names mentioned imo
Not an area we really need strengthening this window but we have lost Ji and it could pave the way for Campbell to Hull instead of letting him go for a free in the summer. Either way if he does sign I will support him, on the other hand is he going to come knowing Fletcher plays up top on his own?
We definately need another striker so we can make a return to the Bent, Gyan, Welbeck trinity era. Fletcher, Wickham and? Danny Graham? No thankyou.
Exactly, we have to remember Bent, Gyan, Welbeck. Fletcher yes is probably as good as Bent as a finisher, Wickham has similar potential to Welbeck when he first came and is younger. This points to the fact we need to sign someone as good and high profile as Gyan. Graham is not that player. We need quality not bodies that is fairly obvious.
Once a dirty mag, always a dirty mag. Stay well clear or this will just end like all the rest. He'll be fine until the derby game. Does this help oh less than enlightened one wolves?
Got to go against the majority and say I like him. Not getting a game at Swansea because Michu is flying. £4m is a snip. And he could always get a headache on derby days.
At the moment our forwards rarely get behind the opposing midfield never mind defence. Hence the need for a midfielder(or two) who can run, pass, assist. Slow front line or not. Given chances they will score goals.
Four goals in four games. 7 goals in all competitions this year. A dozen in the league last year. Supposedly four million pounds. If he was from Shropshire and played for Scotland people would be tossing off over him. This mag hating is literally backwards.
