I agree our defence was ok but not great Clint was great at the end of the season but i feel we need more quality in the centre Ferdinand needs a talker next to him (never a captain imo )
So far we have signed 1 goalkeeper, 2 defenders, 2 midfielders ( including Diakite and assuming Park is confirmed) and 1 striker. Tony can't be blamed for who lazy journalists link us with. Absolutely certain we will get a right back, as we only have Young and Dyer as possibles there, unless Onuoha is moved permanently from CB. Hopefully a top class CB as well.

I think we need some CM's desperately. At the start of the season we only have Diakate and Derry . . . .
Park can also play there, and SWP was also effective against City. As for my realistic wish-list, I'd like to see Samba join. Other than that, I think it will be someone that no-one has heard of - possibly similar to Kompany. Or maybe a Man United center back - we seem to be taking all the other positions from them!
If we wanna progress into a top 10 football team then you can't play people like Park or SWP in the CM role. Parkmis an excellent winger but we really need a CM and a CB. I think CM is most urgent position tho.
