To me, 9 goals in about 30 starts for a striker who missed our entire pre season isn't bad. That near enough matches Fryatt's record.

Does not matter how much he cost does it? <doh>

Plus you're just guessing how much he's paid, does it? <doh>

Probably 30 full games. When you add the minutes up.

Why are league goals more important? <doh>

Just because you got knocked out by ****ing Crawley at home <laugh>

And yes, I got them the wrong way around.

The thing is they are comparing their top scorer to our 2nd top scorer. Lets compare our top scorer to their 2nd shall we

Nugent got 16 and Koren got 10

Remember, we've seen a lot more of Fryatt than you have. He was our main striker the year we got relegated -with the second best defense in the division - so some of the blame for that must be apportioned to the strikers. He was too good for League One though, and did well during our return season with an in-form midfield behind him.

Beckford had a pretty poor midfield behind him last season, particularly before Marshall came in and Danns hit form, so it doesn't surprise me that he didn't do as well as he could have. Hopefully this will be sorted from the off next season and Beckford, should he stay AND keep his attitude in check will, will be more successful.

I don't think any Leicester fans think Fryatt is rubbish, but he is a confidence players (ie inconsistent) and I would take Beckford over him any day, even with his attitude.

Nugent is better than both, mind.

As I said, Fryatt didn't play in any of our cup games and we played a reserve team against Crawley.

I very very very much doubt that

Again it seems to be a case of overrating a player that plays for your club

He really is not that good

Fryatt's best tally ever in the league is 27 and that was in league 1 playing with a target man

So Charlie how can you say he would of got double in the championship

Your just talking out your arse like normal

He didn't even get double that with a target man with him in a worse league with a better midfield behind him.

Seriously doubt he could reach 20's.

You're just guessing, you say it like your teams great, we finished above you. Crawley were playing the second biggest game in their history and were top of the league playing an un-motivated mix of players coming back from injury and kids that had never played before. For the record, I don't think Fryatt would get 32 goals with anyone alongside him. At best he could get 25 in the Championship. I don't think I overrate Fryatt, sometimes he's infuriating to watch and can go through bad spells but I'd say he was a guarenteed 15+ goals a season for us.

Fryatt will never score as many goals as he should because in the box he always likes to take that extra touch instead of getting his shot away early

I'm pretty sure our reserves could easily beat a League Two side just like we did <doh>

To say they were playing the 2nd biggest game in their history is laughable.

Hull are hardly a massive club (lets be honest), i'd say that they had bigger games in League two and the conference in terms of what it means to the club.

Well clearly your reserves are far superior to ours, unfortunately your first team is not. I never said we were a massive club, it was the Crawley fans who billed it as the second biggest match in their history since the Man Utd game the year before. I said 'were', when we played them they were top of the league. That was when they had Tubbs, Barnett etc.

I don't think it's right to suggest our first team is so far away from yours, in fact, i'd say it's better.

We had a radical change of manager mid season and a hell of a lot of players used. Only 2 players started our first and last game of the season and one of those was the keeper.

I think you can agree that man for man our squad is stronger, lets see what happens next season where both sides will have straightforward seasons.

So far away? All I said is that it wasn't better than ours. You're bound to think that you're better than us being a Leicester fan. Perhaps your squad, but not your starting XI. Plus we're still to bring in 5+ players. Straightforward seasons? Don't know how you can predict that so early on.

Well both sets of owners have managers they trust and are willing to back and both sides will obviously build on last season.

And yes, we will obviously bring in more players too. We're not finished yet, we havn't even signed Chester yet <laugh>
