I think we should adopt the general chats Wimbledon 'wid ye thread' which basically involves posting pictures of tennis players and then commenting on whether you would engage in a romantic interlude with the player. (female of course)
Bollox ! I had to go out & bloody missed it after they leveled. Brilliant to hear though & apparently JM is actually originally from Liverpool. On the Murray subject; he did an interview where he joked about the comments he made & said it was tongue in cheek & a response to the media thinking he should be somehow different from other Scott's just because he played tennis. I'm from NI( I'm a mongrel) I support pretty much all the "home" dudes unless when playing each other I favour NI then England/Republic. Not often I have to worry about NI though lol. My exception? The England rugby team: perfect example of continued arrogance without the quality to back it up. And I hate Guscott with an almighty passion. So in short I hope Murray wins tomorrow because he's a sportsman first, and PR second. Tim was PR first because he knew he was never good enough.
Nah Saint he's French so unlikely he'll ever go to war Got no problems with Murray really he's a moaning arse but he is a dour Jock so no surprise there...I think he has earned the chance, you can't ever fault the lad for effort and he would already have won a Grand Slam if he hadn't been in the era of 3 of the best players ever...but he'll still get absolutely smashed by Federer Well done to Marray though a wildcard entry who's just totally changed the course of his life in the space of a few hours...and a Red I believe so come on my son.
Marray was born in Liverpool, and Dalglish said: "Congratulations @jonnymarray and @freddienielsen. You can always rely on a Scouser to deliver on the big stage." Nice one Kenny.
Andy Murray will lose, the Scots are no good at sport, apart from caber tossing, and eating fried mars bars and haggis. Fact.

Marray, who was born in Mossley Hill in Liverpool but is now based in Sheffield, was the stand-out performer on the night as he and Nielsen, playing in just their fourth tournament together, took the Wimbledon title 4-6, 6-4, 7-6, 6-7, 6-3. In doing so, Kopite Marray became the first British man to win a doubles crown since 1936 and last night Liverpool FC led the way in congratulating him and fellow Red Nielsen on their fantastic victory. **** andy who. playing badminton with a ball. Miserable **** aswell, hope Roger smacks a badminton ball right in his knackers
Good to see the British doing so well at Wimbledon this year PMK, those lads and Emile Heskey yesterday, Andy today. If Murray wins, would that be the first ever time two Brits won the Men's and Women's titles in a single year? PS: Good to see Heskey doing so well in an alternative career, easy choice though in a sport that requires you not to hit the net.
to me he does not look like he has grace and humility despite his speech...comes across as a sore basterd...fuk him..Federer has the aura and class of a true winner..and one who has grace at all other times when things may not pan out.
i actually dont mind the Scots..or the Irish..if i was ever going to be anything it would be anti English..born and raised here..it sometimes does that to a man! However this guy has never come across as a nice chap to me..you can tell hes got childhood issues the kant!
