He probably was. Feel free to name a better player, its possible but one of the options you were about to type was the player Kagawa kept out of the side...Gotze.

At worst he was one of the 3 best players and as I said, hes one of the best 23 in the world right now.

A shortlist of 23? would hardly call that a shortlist. Don't kid yourself, RVP will be off to City quicker than you can blink. All they need is another center half and they will be set to run away with the league. Scholes is 38, Sorry to break that news to you.

    A yes, RVP to City.

28 years old, made of glass. Only Juventus have actually showed interest and bid 8million euros. A player who has had just 1 full season.

Terrified, truly terrified. Even Arsenal fans consider it less of a loss that many of their other bigger players leaving, they have spent 4 years of his time at Arsenal without him available.

Plus out of 90000 players, 23 is very very short.

Well if RVP is injured, then they will have Aguero, Silva, Ballotelli, Dzeko or Tevez. So it will hardly be a crisis.

    I beg to differ.

City are so finely balanced that 1 or 2 injuries to the right players ****s them up big time.

And they will move to address that during this summer. it will be extremly tough to catch them next year. An injury to Rooney and it could be game over for your mob. And god only knows if Vidic will get back to anywhere near his best. It looks like Evra is off, ditto Nani.

Giggs and Scholes will feature less. etc etc.

Ask yourself why City hae signed nobody yet. They have no money. Mad as it sounds they dont have a pot to piss in.

Mancini publicly stated he needed to spend right after winning the title yet hes missed out on one of his primary targets and dont seem to be moving for anyone.

Until they sell 3 or 4 players they cant sign anyone, so how they plan to rectify this then I dont know.

Tevez, Dzeko and one or 2 more will almost certainly be sold if they lower the asking price and pay 80% of there wages. If not then they stay til their contracts run out.

They dont, their owners do but their money as of now is worth **** all to City. They may show pity on City and give them some spending money sure but in reality the days of City spending £120million a window have already passed.

The evidence is in plain site.

Marco Reus probably. Huntelaar aswell I'd say. Lewandowski too. Ribery aswell.

There's not many, but it remains to be seen whether Kagawa can adapt to the premier league and Ferguson's 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 or whether he is at his most effective in a team that plays with a lot of movement between the lines and press high up the pitch e.g. Barca, Dortmund or Arsenal.

He was very good and effective for Dortmund though, for anyone to question that is stupid, what should be questioned is whether he was a key player for them or just a replaceable cog in a very effective team.

Theres plenty of stories, plenty of discussion about it amongst City fans aswell.

Its also quite well known that City have to sell, even Mancini hinted he would need to sell before he bought again.

Citys problem, and its a massive problem is they cant sell players at massively reduced prices as they need to sell to balance the books. They also cant afford to pay a part of the wages for the same reason.

People think because Chelsea signed a few players for big fees that the money clubs are not concerned about their financial states, the fact is they are. At least City are and Chelsea have been for years, spending much less than usual with the odd major signing usually off the back of a successful season.

City however spent so much in such a short space of time and have literally made **** all even after their PL title win that even with the £50million in prize money and the increased TV money plus their first lot of CL TV money leaves them with no actual spendable money.

Reus faded towards the end. Huntelaar, just like Gomez a good penalty box goal scorer, but Kagawa's all round contribution to his team made him stand out more. Kagawa was very consistent all season and he was simply outstanding in the title run. Only his ex-team mate, Lewandowski pushes him close for best player imo.

It's all talk, if they want a player, they will get him, especially if the right players become available. City will sign a defender and an attacker at least this window. If you think otherwise then you are just kidding yourself. City are here to stay, deal with it.

He was there main player. Every dortmund fan would tell you that and they and the team itself are absolutely devastated hes gone.

When we were first linked, a Dortmund fan posted one hell of an essay on redcafe about him, very well liked and favoured player.

He will do fine at United, may take a while to settle but most do. Tbh I think hes settle quickly and be vital in our attempts to win back the title.
