I am a Fulham fan. You were talking about two Fulham players. Therefore I have a right to give my opinion. Heck, this is a internet message board, who invented the rule that said you can only comment on your own team's board? If Fulham were linked with two Liverpool players I would expect Liverpool fans to contribute on the Fulham board. I hope that second paragraph is sarcasm. Rodgers hasn't even overseen one match in charge. You have no way of knowing whether or not his 'brand' of football with Swansea will transfer to Liverpool. Afterall he is doing it with a completely new set of players and coaches.
And like you know for deffo that his brand of football wont transfer to Liverpool. Or are you being sarcastic?
If you can find where in that paragraph I said that his brand of football wouldn't transfer to Liverpool then you are a genius. I don't know if it will or won't, and to be honest don't really care as it has nothing to do with my club. The point I was making is that one of your supporters seems to be CERTAIN that it would.
You doubted that Liverpool could adapt to Rodgers style of play. Therefore you are either reading Tarot cards or guessing.
No. I was doubting the fact that one of your supporters was so certain. I came here to state my opinions on the transfers of both Dempsey and Dembele, I am not a wum. Obviously having a rational discussion with you is proving to be too difficult.
I don't understand, just cause I am from Hartlepool does not mean I am violent in any way to animals.
Rational discussion? When one of our supporters gives his view on his team on our board and is certain our team under our new manager will play attractive football is it rational of you to diss him out of hand without a full explanation of why you doubt it?
Jesus Christ! My explanation is that THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN BE CERTAIN that Rodgers will get Liverpool to successfully play the way Swansea did last season. You can be hopeful, enthusiastic, optimistic, but in no way certain before even a ball has been kicked. I think that's pretty rational argument, don't you?
At the end of the day this Liverpool squad has underachieved with the players that we have. The back five and then Lucas and Gerrard is an excellent base to build upon. Throw Suarez, Bellamy and Carroll into the mix and it would be fair to say Rodgers has some talent to work with. I firmly believe we will add a couple of attacking players throughout the course of the summer, and if Rodgers can get us playing effective pass and move football then there is no reason why we can't challenge for the top four. Liverpool is one of the biggest clubs in the world, a true global brand with a proud history, so when you come on here and tell us the club is rubbish, it won't wash. We have had a period of uncertainty with Hicks and Gillett, the new owners are trying changes to bring success, that is clear with the investment last summer and the change of manager. This club will end up back where it belongs, at the summit of the Englsih game. It's just a matter of time...................................................................................................................................................
Bandit, Dempsey just isn't good enough. Hard worker but not much more. For me Dembele has the skills but not the right attitude - especially for a manager who demands that his players leave the field with their shirts wet!
