    See post 20.

I hope I'm not flogging a dead horse here, I'm asking a favour.

Are there any Irish fans who tweet?

Could someone please send a tweet to TF, who's at Silverstone, and ask him if he will consider
using his QPR plane to fly Irish fans into Heathrow.

    Please

cah, I've been given the names of 2 places to stay. the Moran hotel in chiswick which might do a discount for a group and the adria in hammersmith which is owned by a QPR supporter and is very close to the ground.
I'll have a look at them later and let everyone know what the prices are.
all interested parties can then decide what they want to do.

Which Holiday Inn Cork, Hammersmith or North Acton? I have stayed at the North Acton one. It is 2 stops on the tube to White City so handy. There is also a Crowne Plaza at Hanger Lane which is 4 stops on the Central Line to White City. If we book a hotel together as a group, we might get a more favourable rate.

I'm on the facebook page finglas. that's what I was told too. book the flights asap then we can try block booking the tickets and somewhere to stay.
as soon as I get the thumbs up I'll book my flight.
I would like this sorted sooner rather than later though. I'm a bit of a worrier!

Cork, the Hammersmith one is fine. It is 2 short stops on the tube to the Bush. For 2 people sharing it is £120 for the night. The North Acton one is also 2 stops on the tube and £95 for two. The Crown Plaza Hanger Lane is 4 stops on the tube and £80 for two people. I don't mind spending money but if we choose a hotel that is out of some people's reach, the high costs might put some people off. The Crown Plaza is propably a better standard of hotel than the other two but a little bit further out. If I was to choose one of the two Holiday Inn hotels, I would propably choose the North Acton one. It just depends on what people want. Either way, I still think we can get reduced rates if we get definite numbers and book the hotel as a group.

    In my opinion, this is the order we should book the trip;
    1. Book flights and confirm you are definetely going.
    2. Enquire with the QPR box office about group match tickets once we have definite numbers.
    3. Approach different hotels for a group rate, again, once we have definite numbers.

Maybe we should set some deadlines in order that people don't worry??? How about we set a deadline of Monday fortnight ie 23rd July to confirm that your flights are booked and therefore you are going on the trip. That will give us plenty of time to do everything else.

Inked, what is it you are worried about?

Lol Inked. Behind that too? I'm not too sure who set up the facebook page but it wasn't me.

About 4/5 lads on the facebook site have expressed an interest in going. Just waiting on them to confirm they are booked. The deadline set is 23rd July.
