I think Dempsey is good enough, but he is old. We'd make back his money on US shirt sales though. Dembele would be great.

well whether or not we get him the sawns fans are indicating to us at some level tha tour manager has found little gems out there so i just hope he can find one or two for us.
Our Phil, loves Borni. Will say though, he's a better player than Gylfi. Bags of talent and would be a fantastic signing for you. Just wish he hadn't signed a pre contract with Parma, then we might have been able to sign him.
He is a good player, but is largely unproven in the Premier League, he is worth a gamble though and wouldn't have minded him at our club. Not sure who he would replace in your team as I don't follow you, but it seems to be an odd move for you, and it looks like you will not break into the top four for the foreseeable future by signing what I consider mid table players. Dragon saying our chairman is tight is a little bit unfair on him, he is careful and won't break our pay and transfer structure for any player, we are the minnows here. Teams like Liverpool has resources we can but dream about.
'not good enough' scored six more goals in the league than your top scorer last season. If you're good enough, age doesn't come into it. In regards to Dembele, I think you should lower your sights as the likes of Utd and Chelsea are in for him, both of which you can hardly compete with right now.
How was anything I said insulting? You accused Dempsey of being 'too old' yet he is only ONE year older than Van Persie. Would you turn him down for being TOO OLD? Midfielders are expected to reach their prime in their late 20's, so you would be purchasing a player at the top of his game. The fact that Scholes was one of Utd's best players last season disproves your 'age' theory. The fact is Dembele would not choose yourselves over either Utd or Chelsea at this current time. I don't find that insulting, it's fact. Both clubs finished far higher than you last season and have better chances in cup competitions that mean something. If you find offense with your club not being good enough, I suggest you take it up with your chairman/Manager/Players.
I am not trying to insult you but we have already set a precedent for not buying older players. As for Dempsey, I firmly believe that he is playing at his best presently. Hence there is little/no room for improvment and therefore he does not meet any of our criteria.

Whats tht got to do with me, I hate all Premier League Football and the overpaid prima donnas and the way fans think, oh we are a premier league club we know everything. I hope the Premier League has an explosion and all the big clubs go bankrupt and then see what happens, bit like Glasgow Rangers really. There is way too much money in this ****e league, cos its not on a par with the La Liga or Bundesliga just players who think they are great but when against other European clubs get shown up really.
