I doubt it too not so much because of the cost as the rumours that chelsea are in fo him. Would prefer eriksen in any case though.
I agree with you about Eriksen. After his less than spectacular performance in the Euros now would be a great time to swoop for him for a less ridiculous price and he is a brilliant player. As for Jovetic, he's clearly very talented but I don't know that we could justify the figure we'd have to spend on him.
I'm not sure about him - looks a little scrawny for the EPL. If we sell him to: Real Madrid - Higuaine in exchange. Manchester City - Tevez in exchange. Barcelona - David Villa in exchange. Or if Arsenal really want to show some ambition. Sell him to City for 40 Million and use the money to buy NEYMAR.
WHAT!?! how can you call this guy scrawny and then say buy Neymar? Neymar is a decent player but nothing more than that he is by no means worth 40 million, the same way Pato or Robhino were not worth that much. In recent years there has been a habit by clubs to value (decent Brazilian) players way more than what they are actually worth, Neymar is another example of this. Secondly if we sold RVP as part of a swap deal I would rather have: Benzema from Madrid who would fit our style of play much better Dzeko from City-great player, works hard and does not bring the same baggage and drama as Tevez I would love to have David Villa, but I highly doubt that it would happen we should look at raiding their midfield talent like Tiago
Firstly Neymar is still 19 so he will bulk up. But yes he is small, however the guy is already one of the most skillful players in World Football. If you think Jovetic is even remotely anywhere near Neymars level - I would assume you have been smoking crack. In Brazil he is widely tipped as the best young Brazilian since Pele. Andre Santos (who has also played with RVP) was recently quoted as saying " He's the best player I've ever trained with, it's only a matter of time before he's the best player in the World". I'm not saying its even remotely likley to happen though. But yes I would also love David Villa - he would score a ****load for us. Benzema is less likley as he has now overtaken Higuain in Jose's pecking order. Gonzalo Higuian will want regular first team football - he may not be as good 'all round' as Benzema but he's a better finisher. The guy is a proper predator and has a fantastic record.
