I hate them too. I hate anyone advocating violent solutions for a problem that can only be solved peacefully. The reason I didn't mention them is because we were discussing St Pauli, and they obviously don't have links with Rangers-supporting extremists. If we were discussing smaller sections of the Hamburger SV support, you might have a point. And don't be so stupid saying I enjoyed watching people die in the Troubles. That's total bollocks. If you registered what I've been saying on this thread, you'd notice I don't take either side in the Ireland conflict because I don't believe in monopolistic government, a thing intrinsic and crucial to both the Republican and Unionist arguments. My perfect Ireland would just be people and their families living freely and not harming each other. No government borders. No 'Republic of Ireland', no 'Northern Ireland', no 'United Kingdom'. Just voluntary society. Balance and fairness are my middle name where this is concerned. I am admittedly armchair on this matter, but a 'warrior'? Please. I used to like you too. But it seems you've had a serious error of judgement here and decided I'm a right-wing UVF lover when I'm actually just an independent spirit trying to speak out against the aggressive and stupid beliefs of many St Pauli fans, whose club somehow manages to be held in high esteem by a lot of (often part-time) football fans. Once again, please read what I've written before you cast your stones. I've already explained why the thread is not ruined. If you want to contest that, please answer my points and I'll give you the time of day.
Well that's clarified a lot I must say. It did come across in your earlier post that you were totally one-sided but you've cleared that up to be fair. Respect for coming back on and elucidating your position. Turns out we're not that far apart after all! To be honest, I'd never even heard of St Pauli before tonight! Not that much into foreign teams really although when I were younger, I did flirt with Serie A for a couple of years and bought a few Sampdoria shirts. I don't even like watching the Champions League. It just doesn't do anything for me. Good man Jerel, carry on son.
Not a Norwich fan amonsgt the lot of ya, you utter bastards! I loved (and I need to whisper it) the QPR sides of the late sixties/early seventies. Gerry Francis, Dave Thomas, Stan Bowles, great memories when inter club hostilities weren't fuelled by internet forums. Like the OP (who I guess has affiliations to Co.Tipp.), it was Celtic for me also. Irish parents and relatives, it was the thing to do. Not sure it holds up today, just the way it was.
Not anymore. The Jock League has gone from contemptible to beyond farce at this stage and Celtic have as many pissed up w*nkers following them today as Rangers do. Thankfully people are starting to figure the two of them out at last.
Happy days. And that Stadio Luigi Ferraris (?) where Sampdoria and Genoa play looks like a class ground.
