16th. Reason he was so slow on his first stint looked like he was wearing the tyres faster than anyone else again. So very little progress.
He's become the worst driver on the grid. I would trust any of them to do better. I give up on him today and maybe the sport since i dont care much for any of the others. Whats so telling is this thread. Nobody expects him to be in the points.
He's one of the few drivers who has one of the best drivers in the field as a team mate. We can only really judge a driver by his team mate and in Buttons case thats quite a battle.
He's rarely making Q3 and finishing outside of the points in most races. Thats abysmal regardless of your teammate. He could match Hamilton for two years as well and now how often do you even see them in the same picture. Its too many races now to be form or bad luck. Something is intrinsically wrong and he cant fix it. Who know when he'll next have a good race. 2013 maybe, if he still has a drive.
Silverstone is a 'easy' track to overtake on so he'll have few excuses tomorrow. Today was unlucky but if he fluffs it tomorrow then you can doubt him...... .... or are you doing a Manny and giving up on him and using reverse psychology in the hope Button will do well
Button's only saving grace this season is that more often than not he'll admit that the poor performance is down to him. Sometimes he'll talk about setup, but that's basically an admission that Hamilton is judging the conditions better than him.
I've gone for seventh purely because I think he's less likely to throw it off the track, not on his current abysmal pace.
To be fair to Jenson the McLaren is not fast on the Inters. The car is set up for the Wets and given the forcast tomorrow I expect him to fly through to the points.
Button had rotten luck today, he was set to go quickest out of anybody and then Glock span and the yellow flags ruined his lap. I am going to be optimistic and say that Button's bad luck will change here (the place you would least expect it to) and he will win .
From what i have just seen the forecast tomorrow is not that bad, it will be cold but there is a possibility that we will not get any rain which might be good for McLaren as they have been awful on the inters but could mean Jenson is in for a long day from the back
Any other circuit, given the likely changeable conditions tomorrow, i would have gone for him to win, but it's silverstone, so i expect him to retire.
