The unwritten protocol suggests we fill awkward silences with meaningless talk of the weather.

I'm just wondering how badly our pre-season could be affected by the current down-pours. With two games in Gloucestershire looming, I'm afraid that I have to report that the county is looking rather sodden, and with the forcast of more rain for most of the rest of the month, there is a very good chance that both games could be cancelled.

Anyone know what happens in these situations? I can't imagine that it's easy to arrange friendlies at the last minute. Perhaps I shouldn't worry about what might happen, but its looking grim here.

My 17 year old has gone to wakestock for the weekend. She texed us to say parts of the venue were knee deep. She's camping. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Hoping the weather dries up soon, I've got a week fishing on the river wye and there's too much water. Come back after that and it's the Cheltenham game.

Pitches should take a stud though!

Nothing wrong with Harry Ronny. Or should that be Ronny Harry? He is the Laird of Sandbanks.

Hope the weather in Dorset is better for you than us. Had 3 weeks there in June and only 3 hours on the beach.

    Which part are you visiting?

I heard that Harry had a £3M payoff when he left Spurs. After tax that'll be £3M!

They're preparing for all season sailing through the Northwest Passage over here I think clingo , without regard to why they can . P'S. You can buy Glacier water here also ... at a price .

Cracker, I hear you. And I thought it was only football fans that buried their heads in the sand! There are lots of people here asking why it's raining so much. Nothing to do with global warming of course! <yikes>

The weather's been realy bad up here. The other day there were car parts all over the place. I was watching the weather that night and they said that all day it had been raining datsun cogs.
