I thought Matt Jarvis signed for Bolton.

I can definitely see MH letting SWP go providing providing we can find something to make a reasonable offer.

Also think if Hoilett signs then not sure what that means for Taarabt as they'd be completing for the left wing/midfield spot + we have Traore who can play there.

Possible for sure, but all recent quotes point to Adel signing a new contract? Must admit that all of the quotes are coming out of camp Taarabt and not from the club, but TF would appear to be a massive fan as well.

Maybe Adel will compete for both the right and left side with Hoilett, Park, SWP & Mackie? He can obviously play more of a central role as well (in certain formations!)...

Do we have any solid quotes regarding Hoilett or is it just the rumour mill? Doesnt strike me as a Sparky type of player

Lets face it, Adel plays wherever he feels like. Left, right or middle, he'll never stay put for long so I don't think it really matters. Could we be heading the way of Barcelona and just playing free-form football?

Sky Sports understands Borussia Monchengladbach remain favourites to land Junior Hoilett, but he has held talks with five Premier League clubs in recent weeks.

And Sky Sports has also learnt that his current club Blackburn have made a concerted effort to try and keep him.

Hoilett has long been linked with a move back to Germany, where he spent time on loan earlier in his career.

The 22-year-old Canadian-born striker also speaks fluent German and his brother plays there.

But he is still considering his options in England and a host of clubs have stepped up their interest in recent weeks.

Sky Sports understands, Tottenham, Queens Park Rangers, Liverpool, Newcastle and Evertonhave all had contact with the player's representatives in recent weeks.

Hoilett is currently believed to be in England with his family, continuing talks.

Borussia, though, hope that the lure of UEFA Champions League football will win the day for them.

So less than a 1 in 7 chance of getting him. Let's not get too excited then

A lot of great ideas but he just can't seem to get them quite right.

Would you buy him flyer? I'm just interested to what you think because I think he is a great young player. Needs some work to make him great but has that potential

Hes on a free but wed have to pay something to them as it would go to a tribunal.

I dont think we need him, we have Taarabt, SWP, Mackie and Park to play wide. Hes a good player but it would be a waste to sign him unless we dump SWP. We could also sell him on for a profit too.

I think we really need a FB, CB and maybe a top quality target man.

Agree with this, and add Traore to our list of wide men, best crosser at the club. I'd swap SWP for Hoilett though. RB and CB first teamers definitely the priority now.

SWP only has one or 2 seasons left and Mackie wants to play up front. Respect what your saying but we do need a fast winger that can also cross imo. Not got any pace on the wing without SWP who on last seasons showing ain't good enough

Id be delighted to swap SWP for Hoilett but dont think it can be done and I see it as a waste if we sign him at the expense of not signing a FB or CB.

I agree we need a fb and cb more but Mark will know that. I reckon he has a CB (samba maybe) and a fb lined up so Hoilett wouldn't be at the expense of those.

If we got hoilett, a CB, FB and I think another CM we would be a real force next season.
