you had our club for 4years & almost ruined it with your style of management & bouquet club, not spending money on decent players sacking managers left right & centre, big increase of ticket sales, you pair of arsoles. we now have a decent chairman, manager & board who straight away recconised there needed to be drastic changes to this club & low & behold its started whin a year, new stadium to be announced, top draw training complex & quality players coming & we are on the up & i & rest of our fans are so grateful of the changes being made. so to bernie/flav i don't want to ever see near our ground again.
Dear Flav & Bernie, Despite the fact that you are both clearly selfish bigots you did put money up to save our club for which I will be eternally grateful. You certainly managed to increase the profile of our club (not always for positive reasons) and your sheer presence attracted other rich men who do not suffer from your own short sighted greed. These men are now turning QPR into a major force in English football and you will rightly be noted in our history as a precursor to our coming glory years. There are many clubs whose supporters can only dream of the sort of cash injection you made when you first arrived at QPR even if your own overblown self esteem led much of it to be wasted. You are colourful characters who will long be remembered and I for one would welcome you back as supporters at any time. Note, however that your season ticket price will be £18,500,000 - Zebra Finance is available if you wish to spread the cost.
Best thing the Goons did - buy the club and save us from going out of business. Second best thing the Goons did - Sell the club to Tony Fernandes. Third best thing the Goons did - appoint Neil Warnock to get us promoted. Fourth best thing the Goons did - well, actually there wasn't a fourth. Everything else was pretty much pure sh1t.
Admittedly, they are a pair of our-souls, but they were also, inadvertently, a vital link to where we are now. I say inadvertently, because they thought they'd make money from us, and when they'd turned a buck they sold. Fortunately, by then we'd had the benefit of two valuable contacts - the Mittal family and TF. I too would welcome Bernie or Flavio back to the club for a Premiership game - they'd spend all 90 minutes cleaning the Ellerslie Road bogs. Bernie's small enough to reach those hard to get at nooks and crannies. Flavio could hold Bernie up by the ankles if the little guy needed to check under the bowl rims.
They are a pair of ****s who could so easily have undone everything good that happened to us with their parsimonious attitude last summer, we are well rid of them...
I'll second that. They gave it a good go ... but they failed. We shall never die, we were in a worse position than Rangers but we pulled through it. Now we are strong. So very strong....Love QPR!
